Riley's P.O.V

I pulled out my i phone from my back pocket and tapped the home button.

Black screen.

I tapped it again.

Still nothing.

"Shit." I muttered.

You idiot! I scolded myself in my mind. How the heck could I forget to charge it before I left home?

I sighed in frustration and leaned on the post of a dim streetlight. The night was chilly and snapped at my face. My house was miles from here so walking was out of the question. For all I know Louis could be in that lame-ass club until the sun rises and I really would rather not wait that long to get a ride.

"Dammit!" I cursed, all I wanted to do was go home, curl up on the couch and was re-runs of Friends.

Why the hell did I say yes to this? Whenever I go out places like this it always ends up going wrong.

A couple girls in flashy short dresses and unbearably high heels walked past me giggling and laughing. Probably at me. I let out a long dramatic groan.

"That's a bit melodramatic, don't you think?"

"Shit!" I gasped spinning around and almost falling backwards, thankfully I grabbed the lamp post and steadied myself.

Harry stood there in his black jeans and white T-shirt that, an amused smirk was on his face.

"No, but you know what is dramatic? The whole creeping up on young girls." I shot back.

"You're sort of asking for it standing out here all by yourself at night." He said, in a sort of "matter of fact" tone.

"I feel safer out here than I do in there." I pointed out.

He didn't respond, he just stood there with his hands in the pockets of his jeans. I sighed and awkwardly shifted my weight from one foot to the other. "So what do you even want?" I finally asked.

"Nothing. What do you want?" He asked.

I crunched my eyebrows together. "Wha- I was here first. You're the one who came over to me."

"Sorry." He laughed, "I didn't know this street corner was claimed."

Damn right it is.

"Fine. I'm trying to figure out a way to get home, ok?"

"Usually people call cabs." He sighed.

"Oh really?" I asked sarcastically. "My phone is dead." I said holding up the useless electronic.

"Ohhh." He nods. "Who brought you here?"

"Louis." I stated.

He let a little chuckle. "I'll drive ya home."

Hell no.

"No thanks, I'll figure something else out." I said, shrugging off his offer.
