"Are you serious? Oh my gosh, Christine you're amazing!" I gush over the phone.

"It's no problem, they're just switching interview days. I talked you up so much that they really want to see you." Christine informed. When I called her to say I wouldn't be able to make it to the job interview she was able to pull a few strings so my interview is on Wednesday instead of today.

"You're my savior, Christine. Thank you so much." I said graciously for about the seventh time.

"Just try not to injure yourself again, ok?"

I laughed, " I'll try, no promises though."

"Alright, Riley, I gotta get back to work, maybe we can have lunch after your interview?"

"That'd be great!" I hung up after saying my goodbye and thanking her again.

After making a cup of peppermint tea I settled down on my couch to watch TV. While deciding between Friends or New Girl my phone started to vibrate on the coffee table. I reached over and answered it.  "Hello?"

"Riley? Is this Riley?" A loud voice says on the other line, he sounds like he's yelling over loud music.

"Yes, this is she." I reply, holding the phone away from my ear to muffle the loud noise.

"Riley! It's Louis! I'm having a party at my place tongiht, you should drop by!" He shouts over the music.

"I'm sorry Lou, I really shouldn't. My knee is kinda sore." I'm flattered that he invited me, but getting drunk and having him try to flirt with me the entire night doesn't sound fun.

"Come on! It's not like you have to jump off a cliff or anything!"

"I...Um..." I stumble trying to decide.

"Stop making excuses missy! Get your little ass here!" He orders.

I sigh, What's the worst thing that could happen? "Alright, Where are you?"

 "Downtown, you need a ride?"

"No, I can grab a taxi."

"Suit yourself. I'll text you the address." He said and then hung up.

I exit the large elevator of Louis's building and walk down the hallway, I could here the music as soon as I stepped off the lift. I approach the door number he texted me and raise my fist to knock when it suddenly fly's open. A couple girls in short, sequin covered dresses stumble out bursting with giggles. I bite my lip and look down at my skinny jeans and converse runners, apparently I was under dressed. I look back down the hall as the girls run down it. I could just go home, Louis probably wouldn't even notice my absence. But before I can decide the door opens again and a smiling Louis stands there with a drink in his hand. "Riley!" He exclaims. "What the fuck are you doing standing outside my flat? Get in here!" He laughs, grabbing my shoulder and leading me into his house. We wander into his flat and this first thing I spot in the huge chandelier that hangs over his living room. Should I even call it a living room? The space is bigger than my nan's entire basement. There's a bunch of people scattered around the room, some are dancing right under the diamond chandelier while others are laughing and sipping out of glasses. The music is loud, but not unbearable and unlike the club the music is actually good.

" Do you want a drink?" He asks, slinging an arm around my shoulders. I tense a bit, but then relax. Louis knows I'm not interested so this should just be a friendly gesture.
