The Bad boy and Me

Chapter 1

We walked up to the school doors all eyes on us. " Can't we just drop out " I suggested.

" Well you could , but as for me I need college to be a teacher " she replied.   

I love the fact that our dreams have always stayed the same. I wanted to be a singer and she wanted to be a teacher. My dream will come true.

As we got adjusted me and amanda went into our 1 st period and sat down. Then the football boys walked in. First came Erin , then Jackson , coleson , tanner and last but not least the most popular yet mysterious Brooks Evan. He dated almost every girl in school , but he'd only date them for a day. He was tall , with tan skin , green eyes , dark brown hair , and a 6 pack. But there was something about him. His past was something no one ever asked about which made me want to know what had happened.

" hey brinley " all of them said except for Brooks.

" hey guys " I replied.

* they were always my best guy friends *

" why are you so quiet Brooks " coleson asked.

" idk man " he replied.

" babe " a voice said. * I knew that annoying voice from anywhere , Danielle Davis. Brooks current girl friend. *

" uh hey " he replied. You could tell he was annoyed. " I've gotta go , but I wanted to stop by " she said. " bye " he said , his voice sounding really annoyed. " Hey brinley , whatcha working on " Jackson said. " Another song for my album , not sure if this will be on it though " I said.

" sing for us " Jackson , tanner , coleson , and Erin said at the same time.

" hey man , have you heard brinley sing ? she's amazing ! " coleson said to Brooks. " no " he said turning to look at me.

I have to say that moment when he turned around and looked into my eyes was perfect , it was like we've known each other for forever even though we've never actually talked.

" sing " he said. " well alright , but what song ? " I replied.

" do you know any Nora Jones ? she was my moms favorite " he said with hurt in his eyes. " Yeah , she's my inspiration actually. How about her song Turn me on ? its my favorite " I said.

" that'd be great , it was my mom's favorite too " he said.

As I started singing everyone turned to look , Brooks eyes looked straight into mine and it sent a shiver down my spine. When I finished everyone clapped , even the teacher but my main concern was on brooks , he wasn't anywhere to be found.  I turned to Coleson , Tanner , Jackson , and Erin asked them but they just shook their head and said " I think it really got to him , he might seem like a jerk but you have no idea what he's been through. Your the first person he even mentioned his mom around , even him telling you Nora Jones was his moms favorite was something we've never seen him do. Give him a chance to open up brinley "

I've been thinking about this all day , and what made it worse was he was no where to be found. Part of me wanted to look for him but the other part knew that we hardly even knew each other.
