Chapter 8

  Brinleys P.O.V.

" get your lazy butt up " amanda screamed while jumping on me.

" well someone is a morning person " my mom said as she walked in. " Brinley step out on the balcony with me for a second , please. "

" hey mom " I said.

Me and my mom have been getting along much better now.

" Honey , I just want to apologize for the way I acted not too long ago. I hope you pursue your dream. You're amazing. " she said.

" thank you. You have no clue how much that means to me. I love you " I said.

" you ready to go shopping " Amanda asked.

" yes but how'd you get all that money " I said Ponting to hand hand full of hundreds.

" its a secret " she said.

* 4 hours later *

" I can't wait to go home and curl up in my warm bed " I told her.

" well were here " she said.

I walked through the door and saw rose petals making a path. I followed it all the way to my bed room door. I opened the door and turned my lights on. It was absolutely beautiful. Roses everywhere and most importantly the piano of my dreams sitting in the corner of my room. And then I saw brooks stand up.

" oh my God , this is just beautiful ! " I said with tears in my eyes.

" Princess , what's wrong ? Why are you crying ? " he said.

" I'm crying because this is amazing. I don't deserve any of this " I screamed and fled the house.

I ran till I couldn't feel my legs , and my sobs had yet to cease.

Then I felt warm arms pull me to an oh so familiar chest.

" why did you follow me " I asked him.

" Because when your hurt , I'm hurt. When your world is dark and grey so is mine. When you feel alone I feel like a failure. Brinley I love you , your my sunshine. Even in my darkest hours. You've brought me out of my deep ditch. " he said. " Before I met you , I was drinking every night. I was getting high , I honestly didn't give a fuck about anything. I was alone. "

" All I'm asking is that you don't leave me or shut me out brinley " he said in a shakey voice.

" Brooks. I love you , so much. Thank you for the piano that was the best gift I've ever received. " I said.

" Brinley. I love you , so much. " he said kissing my fore head.
