The Bad boy and Me

Chapter 2

Well the first part got the best of me and I went looking for him. I walked out of the double doors and scanned to parking lot for his red hummer.  yep , there he was leaning up against it with his eyes closed. I then decided to walk over to him.

" Brooks , are you okay ? You left in the middle of me singing today. " I said in an uneasy tone.

" yeah I'm fine " he said with hurt in his eyes. " You know you don't have to lie to me , there is something wrong and you can tell. But I get it if you don't want to just don't scare me like that " I said. " why would me disappearing scare you ? ". he said.

" Because look in your eyes was the same that used to be in mine when my dad left ". I said looking directly at him. " How about we get outta here , and tell you about my mom and you can tell me about your dad if you want , okay ? " he said with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. " that sounds perfect " I said blushing.

He opened the door and helped me in the car. The whole ride was nothing but silence , but the enjoyable kind. " here we are " he said pointing to a cabin. " what's this I asked. " something me and my granddad built when I was younger , I go here when I need to think about things " he said looking down at his feet. " come on let's go inside ".

" wow its gorgeous in here " I said. " yeah my mom was a really good decorator " he replied. " well about my mom. Her name was Rene Brantley , she was a singer when she was younger. She had me while she was on tour and had to give up her dream. When I was 12 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought for 5 years , but she uh - uhm - she didn't make it. When you you were singing you reminded me soo much of her and I couldn't handle it. " he said trembling.

" Brooks , I'm so sorry. I didn't know " I said holding both of his hands in mine. " its fine I just haven't talked about her to anyone " he said.

" well you can trust me " I said. " thanks brinley , now what about you." he replied. " well I live with my mom , my dad left when I was 12. He cheated on my mom with his lead singer. It crushed my dreams , but I finally decided a couple years ago that I wasn't going to let his past get in the way of my future. I love singing and its what I want to do. " I said. " you have true talent brinley , I can feel it " he said looking into my eyes.

Never in a million years would I do this but I leaned in and kissed him. At first slow but then it became more intense and passionate. I could feel such a strong connection with us , and it was unbelievable. " Brinley can I ask you something " he said in between kisses.

Okay so I hope this gets more reads. But anyway , I'll update Wednesday.
