Louis POV

I watch her face as she looks around the venue and their wedding planner talks her through the available options. If I'm honest I'm barely even listening. I don't care about the details, I'm a man. Pretty tablecloths and centre pieces are lost on me. I just care that I'm marrying her and that her wedding day is everything she's ever dreamed of. The expression of sheer overwhelming joy on her face tells me that this place will deliver that, and to me that's all that matters.

"What colours do you think louis?" She asks as she holds up an array of samples.

"Whatever you think babe, it's your day" I tell her as I look out of the window at the gardens she was so taken with when we came here last. It's such a shame it's winter. It would have been even more perfect to get married out there on a Summers day. She'd have loved that, but I know it's impossible. Even if we could withstand the barely above freezing temperatures we'd be running a high risk of rain. There's just no way.

"Nice out there isn't it?" The wedding planner interrupts my thoughts. I look up to see laurens full attention being taken by our mums as they look at samples about 15 feet away.

"She loves it out there. Especially at night with the fairylights" I tell her.

"Well maybe you could have your photographs done out there?" She suggests.

"Yes! That would be amazing" I reply. "Is there any way we could enter the ceremony this way? Through the gardens instead of the front doors?" I inquire thoughtfully.

"Absolutely! We'd have to turn the venue around so that your chairs faced the opposite way and have your minister at the other end than we usually do but it could totally be done" she tells me smiling.

"Please do it. But don't tell her. I want it to be a surprise" I ask. She nods.

"Maybe if you went for a later ceremony you could do it as dusk starts to fall and we could put the fairylights on. It goes dark at about 4.30pm in November. If you had your ceremony at 3.30pm it would be darkening enough for the lights to be on as you walk back out" she suggests.

"3.30pm it is" I reply.

"What transport have you organised?" She asks.
"We'll be staying here in the hotel the night before so we won't need any" I inform her.

"She seems like she's quite into the fairytale thing from what I've discussed with her so far, so I'd suggest booking her a horse and carriage regardless. She could be taken round the grounds in it and then arrive at those gardens. Imagine her stepping out of that at the bottom of the gardens and walking through the gardens ad up the steps into here? It would be enchanting" she tells me excitedly.

"Make it happen for her" I instruct without a second thought. "You're so good at your job!" I grin, thrilled to have been given so many ideas within just a couple of minutes.

"OK.  We'll whilst you're taking my advice, id suggest you go and help her pick a colour. I know you probably dont care too much but show some interest. She's really struggling to decide, weddings are stressful for brides and trying to organise one at this short notice is extremely difficult. I'm sure your input would really ease the stress" she says softlt at me as she leaves the room for a few minutes to get us our paperwork.

"Well, im guessing you'll be wearing white so for the other colours I think an Icy shade of Blue and some silver to contrast it" I say as I walk back over to Lauren. She looks up at me with surprise.
"Are blue and silver wedding colours?" She asks our mums. They shrug.
"Well think about it. It's winter! They're nice fresh sparkly wintery colours" I explain.
"Omg yes! We could have a theme.... Like a winter wonderland, you're a genius" she says excitedly as she holds samples of those colours together.
"And we could have ice blue bridesmaid dresses with silver shoes and accessories and then you could wear grey suits but with ice blue cravats! This is perfect!" She kisses me on the cheek.

"Well that's your something blue sorted, Louis can be it" her mum giggles.

"Yeh and you can be my something old" Lauren teases back.

We all laugh as the wedding planner comes back with the paperwork and the five of us sit down to work out all of the fine details, me barely getting a word in edge ways between my mum, lauren and her own mum.  I don't mind at all though. It's lovely to see them all getting so excited.

By the time we leave 2 hours later most things for the reception are sorted. Our mums stall as they stop to ask the wedding planner a couple more questions but I'm in need of a cigarette so me and lauren walk ahead.

"Well - we have a wedding. How do you feel?" I ask her as we walk out of the back doors and into the twinkling night gardens.

"Beyond happy. Its going to be incredible" she replies, beaming the most breathtakingly beautiful smile.

"Just think babe, at this exact time in 13 days we will be stood here, and we will be married" I observe.

As the reality of it sinks in with both of us and we look around at the idyllic location, we share a kiss. When we break it off we look up to see both of our mums watching from the doorway. We're both a bit embarrassed at being caught kissing by our mums and we shyly walk back towards them hand in hand.

"You're like loves young dream it's sickening" louis mum teases.

"They're cute aren't they?" My mum agrees.

"Oh to be young and in love hey? If they're like this now imagine what they'll be like as newly weds?" The wedding planner adds.

"Oh there's nothing better is there? when I got married in think we spent the entire honeymoon in bed" my mum says as I cringe at the over share.
"Oh me and laurens dad were the same, couldn't keep our hands off eachother for months, I ended up with a bad hip" laurens mum agrees.

"Oh God that's not what I needed to hear" Lauren puts her hands over her ears as we both blush and encourage our mums to shut up and get in the car.
