(This chapter was brought to you by my major anxiety for having this class this year. You'll find out what class at the end.)
"... And I already signed you up!" My gym teacher says cheerfully. I was in shock. I wasnt even sure i wanted to!
"When do i start?" I ask nervously. She gives me a wide smile and flips through her notepad.
"Next week." She says, closing the notepad. The bell rings, thankfully sending me to lunch. I really needed to talk to Garroth and Laurance. Maybe even Travis, he seems like a potential friend. Wow, its weird how i went from 0 to 2 and possibly 3 friends in a matter of two-ish weeks. I stepped into the lunch room with very little confidence. I never know if Ivy is going to 'accedently' drop or spill something on me. I try to laugh it off and act as if i dont care, but its just so hard.
"Hey Aphmau!" Travis says, as i sit down next to Garroth.
"Hey!" I say with a giant smile on my face. Then i think about the situation from before lunch, and my smile disappears.
"Wow you really dont want to take that class, do you?" Travis said. I shook my head. Travis is in my gym class, so he already knows the... Situation.
"Hey Aphmau! Hey Travis!" Garroth says, coming up behind me. I turn around and immediately concern covers Garroths face.
"Whats the matter Aphmau?" Garroth asked, sitting down next to me.
"My gym teacher signed me up for a class without me knowing. Im really nervous and I dont know why she decided to sign me up. Im not even that good!" I yelled in frustration. Quietly though of course, because we are in the cafeteria.
"Wait, you didnt even know?!" Travis exclaimed. I shake my head.
"Thats messed up. She should have said SOMETHING to you! And she definitely shouldnt have announced it. Maybe you can get out of it?" Travis questioned. I ignore Garroths extremely confused look for the moment.
"I already tried. Theres nothing i can do. Im just glad my dad doesnt have to know." I mumble. Garroth and Travis look at me questioningly. I ignore their looks, realizing ive said to much.
"So what class do you have to take?" Garroth asks finally.
"Choir."
(I know to a lot of people think choir isnt a big deal, but im seriously freaking out. I dont know why i signed myself up for it last year. Ive been told im a horrible singer by some people, and an amazing one by other people. I should have just played it safe and signed up for something else, but did i listen to myself? NO *jumps in a hole* WHYYYYYYYYYYY)
