CHAPTER ONE - SCREAMS & ROASTS

Lydia's POV

I grabbed another stack of papers from my locker and threw it in the trash. This has been going on for about ten minutes now and the last bell of the day rang.

"Hey, Lyd....ia?" Allison says with confusion in her voice. "Um, do I want to know?"

I shake my head at her and throw the last few pieces in the trash. She peeked her head around the locker door so that she could see inside my locker. My very bare locker. I shut it and drag the trash can back to where it belongs.

"What's going on?" She asks and I just stare at her silently with wide eyes. "Lydia?" She snaps her fingers to get my attention but nothing can overcome the sound I now hear. My vision starts to blur as I see Scott and Stiles walking up to us.

"Woah. Lydia? Hey, hey, Lydia. Lydia look at me." Stiles says in a panicked attempt to get my attention. I can feel my fingers start to twitch as I turn and run down the hall. No doubt the others would be on my tail but all I can think about is getting to the art room.

As soon as I get in the classroom my arm slams the door shut and locks it. Out of nowhere I push a desk in front of the door. Somebody saying my name is faint in the background as I pull out the charcoal and slam my fingers inside the container causing the hardened material to crumble. Using my fingers I start writing on the canvas in front of me. What once was an unfinished drawing of a dock with a clear river is now a victim to my madness.

'They're going to die, Lydia.' A voice whispers and I take in a sharp breath, 'All of them will die. Some of them already have. Save them. You must save them all.'

I close my eyes and try to slow my breathing as names start overlapping in different whispers until it goes silent. No voices, no Stiles yelling my name. Nothing except the sound of static and my hand moving on the fabric of the canvas.

Suddenly I feel like my brain is swelling in my skull. I take in a deep breath and let out a scream with tears running down my face. Somebody's arms grab me and pull me into their chest as the windows smash and come falling in shattered pieces at us.

My scream dies down and I let out a shaky breath, my vision returning to me. I pull myself away from whoever grabbed me and look around confused.

"Theo? What are you doing here? Where am I?" I ask trying to remember how I had ended up in the art room. A desk suddenly flies across the room and smashes on the wall due to Scott and the others storming in. "Thank you." I look up at Theo and he gives me a cute little smirk that kind of makes me want to take him right here.

"No problem. What exactly were you doing? What did you hear?" He asks and I frown slightly and look at the canvas in front of me.

"I have no idea."

Scott, Allison and Stiles come over and stand by us to look at the ruined drawing. Scott starts reading the names out loud.

"Nina, Riley, Will, Hudson, and Piper. They're all stuck with glass. Does that mean they're dead, Lydia?" He asks and I stay completely silent so he continues reading names that aren't stuck with glass. "Emma, Brooke, Audrey, Noah, Jake, Kieran." I grab the canvas and rip it off of the easel and stare at the drawing in my hands with confusion.

Allison looks over to me with a slightly accusing look. "Lydia. Who are these people and why are you writing their names?"

"Why are you asking me? I don't know how they got there. I don't know who they are. How or if I wrote them. I especially don't know what they mean, Allison!" I can feel the tears of frustration start in my eyes.

Stiles looks at me with sadness and sympathy for me being the way I am, a banshee.

"Well maybe you should get a hold of yourself, Lydia. You could've gotten Theo killed. You're probably going to get these people killed." She states with anger in her voice and Scott glares at her. Theo puts his hand on my back to calm me down.

"Allison. There's no reason to say that." Scott says while taking a step away from his girlfriend.

"You know what, Scott, she's right." I say and everybody looks at me in shock most likely expecting me to take a stand for myself. Taking a step towards her, I put on my best signature bitch look and speak with my normal soft tone. "I should get a hold of my powers. I'd be happy to switch places with you. It would be great to cause a million problems for my boyfriend and then sit looking like a helpless five year old while he fixes them. Better yet, how about I listen to my insane family members and turn on all of my friends. Try to kill them. Then use my mother's death as an excuse for why I'm such a bitch and a terrible, backstabbing, fake friend."

I purposely bump shoulders while walking past her and to the door. Just as I'm about to leave another thought pops into my head.

"Oh and by the way, Allison. I'm moving with my cousin Katherine. That's why I was cleaning my locker out." I let out a dry, sarcastic laugh. "Now you can finally be the center of attention. We all know how much you crave it." With that I walk away and out of the school. I don't need her, or Scott, or Theo, or Stiles. Well, maybe Stiles. Plus Theo and Scott. But as of now, Allison Argent never existed to me. I pull out of the lot in my car and glance at the drawing in my passenger seat.

Time for me to find these people. Maybe the glass stuck into their names represents that they're dead? If so there's six more names on this list. As I stop at a red light, the drawing catches my eyes again. There's a forest in the background and a dock. The lake, river or maybe ocean is tinted blue with little drops of red here and there. A lake with a dock and some woods. I think I'll call them the Lakewood Six.

[A/N: as you can tell this is a Scream x Teen Wolf story. There will also be some members from The Vampire Diaries/The Originals. Also, Lydia and Allison are not best friends in this story, don't kill me.]
