Nishinoya Yū // The New Manager ✧

✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧

   Heavy panting, squeaking shoes, shifting bodies. The Karasuno volleyball team was practicing like the usual. It was a normal day and nothing interesting was happening. Especially to certain libero, he was wishing for a cute girl other than Shimizu to come. Guess it came true~

   The gym doors slid open, revealing their beautiful manager, Shimizu. And of course, typically, Nishinoya and Tanaka would twirl around her and praise her on how pretty she looks and all. But it was stopped when she glared at the two.

   What they didn't notice was you hiding behind the black haired girl, shy and nervous on meeting the team. Yet you built up your confidence and decided to take peek. Your (h/l) (h/c) swayed and flowed down your shoulders as you grabbed the manager's arm while your lips quiver.

   "Huh?! Who is this adorable girl?!!" Tanaka blushed madly and started to surround you. "Are you gonna be our new manager?! You're so cute! Wo-" The grip of your hand tightened as you gulped on how scary this guy looks.

   "Tanaka! You're scaring her!" Daichi scolded as he walked towards. "Sorry about that." He smiled as he scratched the back of his neck. "They're idiots,  just ignore them. So you're the new manager huh?" You nodded in reply. Gradually, you stepped sideways and pulled a strip of your hair behind your ear.

   "I-I'm (l/n) (f/n)... I'm a new student here. Nice t-to meet you!!" Everyone greeted and introduced themselves. Tsukishima insulted about your height, Hinata was jumping all over the place also asking you questions, and then Kageyama's stare scared you a bit. But all of them were nice, cough except Saltyshima, and your shyness slowly disappeared.

   And there was a boy that caught your attention. He was just staring at you with wide brown eyes, mouth slightly parted. His face was in a blushing mess. "So... beautiful..." He whispered. It's very unusual for Noya to be quite since he's always full of energy. But when he saw you, he was almost speechless.

   You blushed at his compliment. "T-T-Thank you... uhh??"

   And finally he's back to his old self. "Oh! I'm Nishinoya Yū! You can call me Noya-senpai!" He grinned, making your heart flutter. So after a few small conversations with the team, they continued practicing as you and Shimizu sat down on the bench. She was teaching you the basic things on what to do as a manager and such. Then sooner or later, the two of you got along quite well, getting to know each other.

   Meanwhile, Noya kept glancing at you and was way too distracted. He kept missing the ball, causing it to touch the ground, not able to receiving it properly. Few moments later, when he heard your adorable laugh echoing through the gym, he didn't notice the ball was rapidly heading towards him. Because of this, the ball smacked him hard causing him to fall on the ground. The other players paused.

   "Noya-senpai!!!" You squeaked and ran, making the libero's nose bleed just from hearing you call him senpai. He grunted in pain as you lifted his head and inspecting his face... closely. You didn't notice at first, but Nishinoya was blushing madly. 'She's so much prettier up close...' He thought.

   Then he looked down at the collar of your uniform, that kinda showed a little bit of your... "N-Noya?? Noya!!!" Next thing you knew, he passed out in your arms and now you were shaking like crazy. You looked hopelessly at your friends, asking for help.

   The setting sun passed through the faint curtains as you read a book on your chair. You were sitting beside the unconscious sleeping shortie, waiting for him to wake up. After Noya fainted, Tanaka helped you bring him to the infirmary and get him treated.

   The volleyball player's eyes lifted open and blinked, clearing his vision. His brown eyes trailed sideways and met yours, who was too focused on reading, not noticing he has awoken. 'She looks like an angel...' He thought as his eyes never left yours.

   He was watching your closely at your expression, making him smile softly. Your eyebrows furrowed and your expression scrunched up. You leaned closer to you book with squinting eyes before your hair swiftly slid down. You simply put it behind your ear. 'She sure does do that a lot...'

   After a few minutes, you sighed and closed the book. Your eyes closed and you rested your back on the chair, still not paying attention to him. "(l/n)." You shot up and glanced at the teen.

   "Noya-senpai!" You felt relieved and got closer to him by sitting on the bed. "Are you feeling okay now?" You asked with a worried tone.

   "Y-Yeah..." He blushed. Then he got an idea in his head. This is a chance to get to know you more! "Hey, wanna go get ice cream with me? My treat!" He beamed with a smile when he leaned up and held both of your small hands with his.

   "Oh... U-Um sure!" You smiled and accepted his offer. The libero's heart beat faster and his stomach turned when he saw that adorable smile of yours. 'I-Is  this a date?!' You thought, while blushing.

   The two of you arrived in the ice cream shop. You ordered your favourite ice cream as Nishinoya ordered his. Meanwhile, Tanaka and Hinata were stalking behind the bushes.

   "This is the first time I saw him like this. She must be special." Tanaka whispered.

   "ReallY?! What was he like with oth-"

   "Quite down! They'll hear us."

    Noya and you were talking and laughing, just having a good time. Well, he was trying to impress you and make you laugh. Anyways, while you two sat on the bench, talking about whatever, you noticed there was a smudge of ice cream on his cheek.

   You shyly smiled. "Uh Noya-senpai..." You leaned closer making the brown eyed boy freeze. "...There's something on your cheek." Then you kissed his cheek, also licking the ice cream off before moving away. His face was now red as a tomato. You giggled at his reaction then few seconds later he fainted once again. "Ah!! Noya!!" You panicked as you looked around, not knowing what to do.

   "Oh shit, let's help her!" Tanaka informed. Him and Hinata ran towards you. And that was how you and Nishinoya's relationship started. The end.
