Hinata Shōyōu // Shorter Now Taller?! ⇈

   In that time when you first entered high school, you were pretty proud of your height. Yeah, there are still people who are taller than you but it didn't bother you since the only person you cared about is Hinata Shōyōu.

   He was always been short. Ever since childhood, you've always made fun of his height. Well you weren't really bullying him, you two are friends. Err... Really close friends, best friends.

   Now that you're in high school, you were happy that Hinata didn't grew too much during the summer. And the competition didn't stopped since you two went to the same high school,  Karasuno.

   Knowing him since little kids, you've always supported his passion for volleyball. Other days you were sad for him sometimes not hanging with you, but you're just not used to it since you two are inseparable. You often watch his volleyball practises and tournaments.

   The time when he tried to join volleyball, he met this scary guy named Kageyama. It was a funny memory to you. They always argue but in the end, they both seem like close friends. Kageyama also became your close friend and you never felt anything towards him. You've always had a thing for Hinata.

   "(l/n), you still like Hinata?" Kageyama asked as he walked beside you. Apparently Hinata wasn't there today for some reason.

   You blushed and punched him in the arm making him grunt. "I-idiot of course I do!" Yes, he knows your secret. He's the only one that knows and if he said a word about it he knew he would be dead in an instant.

   "Y-You don't have to punch me..."

   "Ehehe... Sorry Kags~!"

   Other time was when the whole team just met you, they immediately asked if you and Hinata are dating since you two are incredibly close and 'touchy'. You two would always hug each other, give high fives, hold hands... The holding hands was an habit.

   Speaking of hugs... Hinata would ALWAYS blush like crazy because of the height gap. It always happens when you haven't see him for like 3 hours straight. You would run up to him and hug him, squeezing him in the process. And the reason why he's always blushing when you hug him, is because his face... Cough always land on your chest...  Which you don't mind... Well you don't know why he gets flustered.

   Another time, Tsukishima would often insult Hinata about his height, and you would join him. But when he messes with Hinata other than his height, you would rage on him. There was one time when you kicked him in the nut. The tall teen never ever bothered you, or make fun of Hinata if you're around. If you're not there well... he'll do the usual.

   Fact, the volleyball team is kinda scared of you...

   Throughout the 1st year, you were beside him through his happiest and saddest times.  Especially when they had lost. You were there, trying to cheer them up. But you were happy when they got into the finals.

   And then the 1st year of high school ended.

   During the summer, you and Hinata rarely hang out. He was busy practicing volleyball while you were working on a part-time to gain money for college. But when summer vacation was over, you now moved onto the next level, 2nd year high school.

   And when you met Hinata, well... You were surprised. You and him were at the same height!! He'd often tease you about it. Now, you were afraid that he's going to be taller than you and that he'll make fun of you as for revenge.

   "Aahhh (f/n)-chan~! We're at the same height! Right Kageyama?" Hinata asked with sparkles in his eyes. The setter nodded and soon regretted it afterwards.

   "KAAAGS!!!!" A round-house kicked planted on his face, causing him to fall on the ground as the orange haired boy escaped for his life.

   Since then, you didn't give Hinata you're warm cuddly hugs. Gradually, you grew distant towards him. But the two of you are still friends.

   3rd year arrived and your biggest fear finally came true. Hinata was waayyy taller than you, like you were only up to his shoulders. And he became more masculine and good-looking~ Which made you blush every time you see him. But you would often look away and ignore that ball of sunshine. It actually saddened him.

   Since your heights exchanged, Hinata would constantly tease you on how short you are now. And whenever he sees you, he would run up behind you and hug you, lifting you up in the air.

   As time passed by, it seemed like you were closer with Kageyama than Hinata, which made Hinata jealous and thinking that you like Kageyama. But he got it all wrong. It's just you're just that sensitive for a violent person like you.

   And finally, the worried orange haired teen decided to talk to you. It was after volleyball practice and you and him would walk home together. "U-Um (f/n)-chan... Is something bothering you lately...?" He asked with his KINDA deep voice. How dense. Then he placed his arm on your head making you pissed off. "Oh! I can make you an arm rest!"

   And then you snapped. Tears streamed down your face, making Hinata slightly panic. He didn't know what to do. Then he realized... "E-Eh?! (f/n)-chan!!! I'm sorry, i'm sorry!!" He stood in front of you and grabbed your shoulders. "I'm sorry for calling you short!! But you are and it's actually so cutee!!"

   "R-Really?" You sniffed.

   "Yeahh!! You're also so beautiful, smart, kind!!! Even though you can be scary..." He mumbled the last part. Before he held both of your hands he wiped your tears with his thumb. "A-A-And I love you! A lot! Since the first time I m-m-m-met you!!!" He released his grasp and leaned up straight as he scratched the nape of his neck. He was really red, the same as you.

   Everything was silent as he waited anxiously for your reply. But then he was surprised when he was pulled down from his shirt and felt something warm on his lips. His eyes grew wide, realizing you were kissing him while on you're tippy toes. You quickly pulled away, avoiding to look at him in the eyes. "I-I love you too..." You muttered.

   A big grin crept across his face. He was so happy that he carried you in his arms and twirling you around.

   'I guess being short wasn't so bad after all...'
