Tied Up

Ari's POV
I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. She was safe, but something was after her. I could just feel it. Where on earth could she be? Wherever she was, it wasn't too far, and I couldn't wait to see her.

Carly's POV
I laid on my cousins old bed, it was always so comfy but, today it felt like a rock, or a bed of nails. It was strangs, but I didn't care, I had been sleeping in disgusting bus seats for the past couple of days. I still couldn't remember what had happened in Las Vegas. It felt like a piece of time had completely passed me on my timeline. I wish I could just rant about my "trip" with Ari, Lorelai, and Cedar. Ari had been my neighbor for my whole life, and she was practically my big sister. Lorelai lived in downtown which Ari and I could walk to thankfully. And Cedar moved in a few years ago. She lived a few houses down and was so nice. Hunter played soccer with Xander, my other older brother. He didn't live very close, he lived across town. But he was like the other older brother but everybody thought we we're a couple which made things awkward. But of course we got over it. I always had other problems that got in the way of having a relationship with Hunter, at one point we both wanted a relationship with each other, but my parents wouldn't allow me to date until college so we decided that we would just stick to being friends and its gone pretty great so far, but hey it's been fine. I couldn't wait to get back to Wilmington. I missed the beach so much, I missed riding Wisp on the shore, and the salty wind in my hair. I missed my life, I just don't understand how this happened to me of all people. I was always so careful, who ever nabbed me was smart and had done it before. I was leaving in the morning, my aunt volunteered tip drive me back home. She didn't want me taking the bus after I told her what happened. She had taken me to shop for a new outfit earlier. I showered and changed into the leggings, and a camisole with my new elephant sweatshirt. I was going to be in North Carolina in less than three hours. My aunt made her famous waffles and then we were on our way!

I wanted to make a rather long chapter to say thank you for 300 views! I've never gotten more than 20 views on any of my books and this is quite new to me and I just wanted to say thank you! I am almost completely finished with this book. I know is early on but I wanted it to be a short story that I wouldn't forget to keep writing. And if you stick around I'm gonna make a sorry story series of Carly's adventures and her friends journeys. But anyways just be prepared for some extra long chapters, because I really want to get into more detail about Carly's trip home and her return with a little extra surprise at the end.
