The Forgotten Ones

Chapter 3:

-Hiro P.O.V.-

We left early and we had been driving for at least 2-3 hours, i was in the passenger seat and Aya was in the back. "Mom, how much longer til we get there" Aya asked "Only about 20-30 minutes Aya" mom said. It was completely silent in the car, the kind of awkward silence, "Hey, Aya, there's a girl that's about your age and i think you'd like her, she's the daughter of another friend of mine, maybe you could get her to show you and Hiro around, she's a local so she'd know a lot about the town" "She sounds interesting" Aya said. 

~30 minutes later~

-Aya's P.O.V.-

We finally made it to Bannock, it was a very run down, creepy looking town. "Ok kiddos, we're here" mom said as she opened her car door. Me and Hiro opened our car doors as well and stepped out, we were parked in front a very old looking white house. "Ah, home sweet home" mom said as she stretched and walked to the back of the car and opened the trunk. "Wait, this is where we're staying" i asked, in a disgusted voice "Yes dear, this was the home i lived in before i met you father and you two" i just sighed and grabbed my things. When mom unlocked the door to the house, Hiro bolted inside "I GET TO PICK MY BEDROOM FIRST" he ran up the stairs, almost tripping. "Hey Aya" my mom said, setting her  things on the ground "Ya, mom" "I don't want you to go into the woods, no matter how tempted you are, just please, stay around the town where there are people" i tilted my head in confusion.  Before i could ask her anything Hiro cut me off "AYA, LET'S GOOOOOO" i just took my things and walked upstairs. This house was actually really nice on the inside, it's just the way it looked on the outside, this house had 2 stories, not counting the attic. I got the bedroom right next to Hiro's cause mom said it'd be easier to check on us at night, i went into my room, closed the door, and started unpacking my things and putting them into my drawers. As I was putting my last few pairs of jeans away i heard a tap on my window, i walked over and looked out, there wasnt anyone there. I just shrugged it off and opened my door to walk downstairs when all the sudden Hiro popped out and i jumped 10 feet in the air. He laughed "Come on Hiro, that's not cool" I yelled "Oh come on Aya, it's just a joke" i punched him in the shoulder "Ow what the heck" "Your such a jerk" i said as i stomped down the stairs. When i walked downstairs i saw my mom in the kitchen talking to a girl about my age "Ah, and this is my daughter Aya" my mom said to the girl. The girl turned around, she had black hair with white highlights and she had navy blue eyes, she also wore a pair of black glasses. She stood up and walked over to me and held out her hand "Hi there Aya, my name is Camilia but friends call me Cami" i smiled at her enthusiasm and warmness. I took her hand and shook "Hi Cami, it's nice to meet you" she smiled and sat back down at the kitchen table across from my mom. Just then Hiro walked into the kitchen and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Cami.
