So sorry for not updating! Please accept this chapter as an apology. I don't own anything but my O.C. Enjoy.
I sat on the edge of the hospital bed staring out the window and glancing at my reflection. Yogi and the others stopped visiting me who knows how many days ago and I feel sad but understand why...
A knock was heard from behind me on the door and I just stared at my grey sneakers. "Come in." My voice was bored. I could hear tall footsteps walking to me and turned around to see a guy with brown hair and glasses. Next to him was a shorter girl with long pink-ish hair.
The guy bowed then crouched down so he was eye-level with me. "Hello Sara. My name is Hirato and this is Tsukumo."
I nodded and she gave me a small smile.
"We've come to bring you back to our ship and talk about what happened to you..." His voice hid what sounded like regret.
"Okay." We left after he signed my release papers and walked to a ship thing. I was so lost in a daze that I hadn't noticed we were now sitting in a lounge room.
"Ms. Sara? Are you even listening?" Hirato sounded annoyed, a cup of tea in his hand. I looked at him with expressionless eyes and nodded before looking out the window again. He continued not entirely sure I was paying attention. "Okay... So, from what we have gathered here we think there are multiple dimensions and when you died in yours..." His voice trailed off and I looked at him from the corner of my eye encouraging him to go on. He sighed taking his glasses off and cleaning them. "We think that when you died in your dimension you were sent to our dimension for a second chance. Now, how you knew about us and how there was a "manga" as you say, we do not know."
He put his glasses back on and a look of realization spread itself across my face. "Wait so you mean I'm dead...but this is all real and I got a second chance at life?" I leaned towards him from the couch and he just nodded.
Tears started to fill my eyes as I looked down playing with my black sleeve. "You must have done something really good to earn that." I smiled softly and looked back up at him.
"I saved my friend from a car that would've killed him instead." His eyes flashed a bit of surprise before returning to their look of interest.
Tsukumo sat beside Hirato the whole time and looked at me shocked. I ran a hand through my wavy hair and looked to the side. "Do Gareki and Yogi know yet?"
"No. We sent a letter this morning explaining everything though so they should get it soon. In the meantime we should get you new clothes and get you settled."
Right as he said that, Yogi burst through the door and tackled me to the ground from behind the couch. All I really saw was a blur of yellow before I hit the ground and felt arms wrapped around me tightly and someone's head rubbing against my own like a cat.
"It appears I was wrong. Yogi, you're in charge of getting her settled. I'll pay for clothes so you take care of everything else."
"Got it!" Yogi said from above my head. So I guess he tackled me, geez he's fast. I lay there awkwardly as Yogi acted like a cat until Gareki found us and ripped him off me. "Garekiiiiii! I was cuddling my precious Sky!" He kicked his arms and legs until Gareki put him down.
My hair fell back into place as I stood and noticed Hirato and Tsukumo were gone. I looked at Yogi who smiled at me and Gareki who looked for Nai. "Why'd you call me Sky?" I pushed my hair behind my ear gently and thought I saw a faint blush on Yogi's cheeks.
"Because that's your nickname!" He smiled and I looked down still feeling bad about what happened in the hospital. Apparently he noticed this and pulled me into his chest. His chin rested on my head and my eyes widened at the movement. "We're not mad...we understand what you were going through...I will admit we were hurt but more surprised than anything...and sorry about not visiting. We were kinda...busy." He emphasized busy but I payed no attention to it as I cried into his shoulder. He rubbed my back and I could feel Nai come up and hug my waist tightly.
We stood like that for a while until Gareki coughed getting our attention. "So we need to take Princess here shopping right?"
I looked at him with 'WTF' face when he said Princess.
He smirked slightly and explained. "Well, you're from another place so you're already foreign and then..." He walked up to me after Yogi let me go and held some of my hair in his hand before kissing it and looking up at me. "You have the beauty to be a Queen but you're still too short and young."
By that point my face had turned 20 shades of red and I stood there frozen not knowing what to do. Yogi scolded Gareki who just burst out laughing while Nai waved his hand in front of my face. I snapped out of it and punched his arm mumbling "I'm not short.."
This should be interesting...
