The Teller of Pointed Stones fidgeted in his sleep, the cold and damp cave wrapped around him, but it didn't dare to touch his pelt. His mind was in fever, driven to somewhere unknown. He was awakened in a dream he could not find rest in. The stars above him took up the sky, but the sun was strangely present.
Not far away in his vision he saw a hill that stood tall and mighty, as well as a lake spread before him, wide and unlimited. He kept his ears alert, the long whiskers being the only evidence of his age. His green eyes drifted, taking in every detail as he learned to do. Slowly, an unfamiliar mist began to surround him, spreading upon the lake and racing toward the hill beyond.
"The five will not unite..." A voice echoed out to him softly, but powerful all the same, the skyline appearing brighter as the stars began to softly disappear one by one.
"The lion will not form." It continued, the bright light of the sun growing gradually as the voice spoke. The light forced the tom to close his eyes and turn away.
"The lion destroyed Scourge..." It said. The tom awaited the voice to tell him more, but suddenly the mist grew denser as the world around him grew darker. A florescent light, the moon's light, sparked brightly as the stars sharply reappeared. From the opposite field of the tom's vision the moon forced it's way into his view, rising like a storm surge into the valley.
"They will fall!" Boomed a new and unfamiliar voice to the Stoneteller. A large paw came crashing down from the heavens, crushing the hill, dirt, rocks, and grass, exploding everywhere before the tom could twitch his whiskers in response. The cornish rex watched the debris fall, swarming all around him, startled to see that it was accompanied by an outpouring of blood from within the hill.
"The sixth will leave!" The second speaker said, it's voice a shattering boom across the dreamscape. The tom felt his eyes betray him as they grew tired, as he tried to run from the frightening vision, find safety from the destruction and the terrifying voice, but, he did not protest as his vision ended, for he knew it was a dream. He awoke quickly, realizing he was free from the dream. The Stoneteller swiftly moved from his resting place to exit the cave that he and his predecessors had resided in for generations. His clan must know of his vision.
