Vine watched as the clan began to grow more attentive under their leaders eyes.
"I shall send messengers in our stead, representatives of our livelihood, to find and warn our sister tribe. Surely they must know of this fifth clan the spirits of my dream spoke of." StoneTeller persisted, determination to understand the dream building within his brittle being. Vine recognized the vigor in his voice, the way his shoulders tensed as he spoke, the spark growing in his eyes and his ears standing atop his frail head.
"If I am to receive this dream then we must carry out the duty of protecting life, whatever it may be worth, from this foretelling of destruction. Now is the time for caution and assistance, not hesitating against superstitions. If our sibling tribe had seen such disaster, they would also have these worries, but I know with every speckle of my soul they would do anything to avoid such calamity!" The small speech by their leader evoked a calling within each of the tribe members, issuing a vast upheaval of spiritual agreement. The cornish rex swept his powerful gaze over the crowd again to ensure his message reached each of their hearts so there was no mistake in his desires.
"We will help our sister tribe as we help each other in times of need, no matter what the price may be in the end. Let us not make regrets and disparities, we shall rise to our occasion alongside our brothers and sisters to cause a new dawn, rather than an insufferable dusk." Those were the words he spoke that gained the last ounces of support he would need from his tribe, those who had outwardly spoken in protest now bowed their heads in subtle agreement to his woes.
"We shall create a more detailed plan today, and set off our messengers tomorrow. Until then, do as we usually are. Cats will be chosen to go on the journey in our place, be prepared incase you are called up for this momentous task." The Stoneteller warned, though no one now feared being given the task of acting out such a duty.

Gorgecloud shot upright from her sleep, a terrible aching shiver traveling swiftly through her spine. A dream had come to her in her slumber, a terrible, awful nightmare. Her silver fur rippled with her movements as she exited her nest with haste, eager to address her worries with her leader as soon as possible.
She left her den abandoned as she nearly sprinted across the camps open grounds, desperate to relay her fears to the most powerful of their clan. Without hesitation she stumbled her way into their leaders den, nearly tripping over old moss left by the entry way, left forgotten by a careless apprentice or an absent-minded one who would be scorned for their intolerance. Gorgecloud caught herself and straightened her posture, roughly and impatiently prodding her leaders side, forcing the other cat to awaken.
The emerald eyes of her superior opened slowly and weakly before the eye lids sprouted wide in reflex to the violent wake up call. The brown pelt began to shift as the tom turned his body to appropriately face the medicine cat.
"I am awake, Gorgecloud!" He said in annoyance, though it held no hostility. The silver she-cat moved away from her leader in an offering of personal space and boundaries, not hesitating in sputtering out her dream.
"Farstar, I had a nightmare from Starclan! The sun and the moon were giving me warnings of a terrible foreboding reality! The sun was speaking to me about "the five" and some "lion" that wouldn't form, and I-I watched the moon crush a mountain!" Gorgecloud continued in her hysteria as Farstar repositioned himself in his nest, his ears twitching as he listened to her express the dream she had fallen witness to.
"Gorgecloud, I understand that it was frightening, but please calm yourself so we can resolve and decipher this message from our ancestors with some amount of grace." Farstar finally said, breaking through the medicine cat's wild banter. The silver she-cat allowed her voice to die down as she finally stopped her ranting. Her pelt grew warm with embarrassment for her outburst, sitting down as she calmed her racing heart.
"Yes.. I apologize, Farstar." She said quietly. The brown tom kept a steady gaze on her before letting it drift away from her silver pelt, barely illuminated in the shadows of his den.
"Now tell me again what happened in your dream, slower this time, please." Farstar prompted with his eyes returning to look at her. The medicine cat nodded.
"It started with me by a lake, more like an ocean now that I think about it, but a body of water. I looked to my right and saw a large mountain, it looked like the one we can see from camp. Everything else was the forest, it was unfamiliar to me. I looked up and saw the stars, but for some reason both the sun and moon were in the sky together. I have never seen anything like it-" She was interrupted by Farstar.
"Please stay on track, Gorgecloud." He said in his solid tone, his eyes tired but his ears were alert as he picked out the finer details that were important from her tale. She recoiled sheepishly as she continued.
"The sun spoke out to me, it told me that the-the 'five would not form' and something about a lion that destroyed Scourge? Anyway, the moon started talking next and yelled 'they will fall'!" Gorgecloud paused in her narrative as she stomped her paw on the ground as she spoke the line from her dream.
"And a huge paw came from the sky and crushed the mountain! Just like that! All the rocks and soil was falling from the sky, I thought I was going to-!"
"Gorgecloud! Stay on topic." Farstar interrupted again, a playful annoyance developing with the medicine cat. The silver she-cat seemed to sigh as she shook her head, more at herself than him.
"Sorry. After it was crushed, blood started to flood the mountainside and poured into the lake. Then it shouted at me 'the sixth will leave'!" Gorgecloud said as she finished her story and looked to Farstar. His eyes fell lower as he looked away in thought. What could this mean for Skyclan?
If Gorgecloud was to receive this dream how did they have a part to play? The four who formed the lion to destroy Scourge was foreign to him, he had never heard of such a story. Who was the sixth the dream was referring to?
Would the mountain fall onto them and cause all the blood to flood the ocean Gorgecloud described? Farstar had many theories running through his head like panicking squirrels.
"Return to your den for the night, Gorgecloud. We will get to the bottom of this in the morning. Thank you for bringing your dream to my attention. Rest well." Farstar dismissed her with his farewell, watching as the silver she-cat said nothing. She simply bowed her head and muttered a goodnight before retreating from his den.
