1; Roofing

You were texting me from Destany's phone. I had asked you what's up, and you told me you were waiting for Lela or destany or some shit in DD's Tahoe with Kem. As the conversation progressed, I informed you my dad had left for work around 4:30. I end up getting a call later, waking me up from my hour's worth of sleep with Kem saying "randy! Wake up, get your shit ready, we're coming to get you, we're going roofing, be there in ten" "but I'm deaaaad" "We'll get you a red bull."

So here I was pacing my empty house in a fall out boy tee shirt, with Harley Quinn perfume on from hot topic, bored, but feeling excited, waiting long past the allotted ten minutes. Eventually, you're outside and it's cold and the lighting is pretty and it's about 5:30 ish. I climb in your Tahoe, and we're off. You drive to the mountains, on this dirt road off the cemetery street with the big hill and Mike Browns shop. We're passing around a cigarette and eating skittles, whilst Kem says were all technically kissing. I decided that day I had trusted my girlfriend being around her, she respected our relationship despite her feelings.

Once we get to our destination, and you park on the side of the road, on a little dirt clearout thing, Kem and misti climb onto the roof, to watch the sunrise and moo at cows.

"Get in the back and fuck your girlfriend goddamn it destany"

But she smiles at me and we laugh, both feeling sleep deprived. I gave misti my gray jacket so I was cold now (yet they were the ones who got the blanket and took it to the roof?? Idk where my logic was tbh xD). Btw, I can't wash it because it smells like home, like no matter where I take it, or for how long, there's cigarette smoke and the trailer house scents (you gotta smell it to know lol its comforting) weaved into the fabric and it's been through a lot with me, i can't wash it. Idgaf. I'll be a hobo.

K and M (my tablet just autocorrected that to Marijuana xD misti I hope you're proud of me lmao) kept telling destany to drive while they were on the roof but she wouldn't until finally she did but only for two seconds and then stopped. Later, they proceeded to climb down her windshield xD Kem just hopped inside by the passenger seat window which was obviously open and misti followed suit the next time but they don't tried to get in at once and it didn't work too well xD

We keep seeing this helicopter that's pretty low and it stays in our area or comes back to it. We got a little worried, I mean not that we were doing anything wrong necessarily, we handed destany the cigarettes, since she had just turned 18, so besides that were literally doing nothing in the middle of nowhere. Well. Basically we're convinced the SWAT team is after us and we're like what the hell. This truck, like a utility truck? Idk how to describe that without giving it away already, and we didn't know what it was at the time, had drove and parked behind us. Which raised suspicion bc rapists am I right? Like what other reason did you have to park right behind our fucking vehicle?!

So as we're watching this guy get out of his truck, destany takes a long ass drag off her cig before putting her and kems both out.

"Don't come over here and talk to us" destany says quietly, all of us just stalking this dude. He hops onto the back of his truck and messes with the equipment(?) And shit and this helicopter is back and coming straight at us. And we're saying oh shit oh shit oh shit dude it's the swat team wtf

And let me remind you none of us got over two hours of sleep at that point and destany Kem and I were relatively used to not sleeping beforehand but just hadn't done it in awhile I guess (Maybe destany had idk) and misti wasn't really used to sleep deprivation, so her sleep deprived is hella funny.

Well. Turns out. That was the landing thing for the helicopter. t o g i v e i t g a s. The helicopter was spraying the fields. So we start hysterically laughing.

We decide to head home since Kem had to be at her house before her dad came home from work at like 7 or some shit. And they're talking about going to marks house later. So Kem asks to drive, and destany tells her she has issues trusting people on dirt roads since I guess somebody drove her into a ditch one time and she just can't handle it since and it makes her anxious. But eventually she gave in and I held your hand in the backseat, and I knew you were anxious..

When you got to driving again, I watched you and a Lorde lyric went through my head from Buzzcut Season,

You drape your wrist over the steering wheel
Head out the window again
We're hollow like the bottles that we drain

And I'm still trying to remember if I said that out loud or not xD

You drove me home and I swang outside and drank tea and you guys slept at kems and I guess her dad came out because she told you guys to run and you got out of her house lol

Destany and misti came back to my house and I made misti a couple sandwiches (bc I make good sandwiches motherfuckers. Not My Grilled Cheese Dealer lives across the alley, I've known him my whole life like we tight xD sandwiches in the ghetto lmao) and destany was almost asleep on my bed. We were trying to get misti out of my room for unsaid obvious reasons. Eventually she got the hint and left and slept on my sisters bed. Meriah (my (twin) sister) walked in my room to get the phone charger (we use one between the two of us, the old one broke like oh no) to which she saw us shirtless and me on top of destany and the only thing she said was "I'm not really sure what I expected to see"

Misti had my phone and she said "kems calling" and i told her to pick up. She said yeah and okay And sounds good and shit for awhile before hanging up and saying "kems coming over"

"What? Why?"

"I'm bored"

Lmao xD

So she shows up and walks in on us. Like how many times is this gonna happen lmao so she's saying she wants to go to marks and we're saying no, we have business to finish here, so they leave us alone for awhile but come to find out later they were totally creeping on us (I had the entire fucking town shipping me and destany btw like fuck yeah xD) lmao they walk in and we're laying on my bed, shirtless still and misti tries to dress us and looks at the hickies I left all down DD's stomach and said "What did you do?" XD and eventually she gives up or something and they're sitting on the edge of my bed and kems looking at my perfume and shit. Misti laughs and says "She still has her choker on" referring to me and I'm like "Fuck her with a choker on should be a song" to which we think googling this would be a good idea. Which leads us to some weird ass porn. So here I am with my girlfriend, kem, my best friend of nearly four years, all watching porn together, on my bed, half of us shirtless. Great xD

After getting water poured on us in the bathroom, we get in her Tahoe and drive to marks, where I felt home, because the walls were dirty and everything was dirty and it smelled like sweat and cigarettes and sex and weed and it was home to me. Mark showed us funny videos off Facebook and then the three of us walk to Narnia. I walk home and destany and misti follow me back up to my house and get water.
