*Hazels POV*

I lied in bed as Jack finished washing his hands for what must have been the 9th time, it had been at lest ten minutes since my retaliation to his smart-ass remark but i was still in hysterics ,

"you know, Mrs Howard, if it weren't for the fact that you are carrying my unborn child i would have floored you for that smart-ass comment"

"Firstly, Mr Howard, even if i weren't pregnant there is no WAY on this earth that you could 'floor me' and secondly if you wash your hands one more time i think you'll wash away a layer of skin so make yourself useful and make me a cuppa will you"

I smiled to myself and retrieved my favourite blankey from our bedroom before going to help Jack bring the tea through, i turned the TV on to see that Daniel had been watching FRIENDS before he had left this afternoon, no surprise there, i sat practically on Jacks lap as we both watched Phoebe balancing her cereal bowl on her heavily pregnant belly and the growing relationship of Monica and Chandler, you can always count on Daniel J Layton to leave an amazing episode for me to watch. He knows me far to well...

"Jack! I just thought of something, when do we tell Dan, Dodie and Dean? I mean we will have to tell everyone eventually but they are the ones we cant hide it from, we spend almost every minute with them for christ sake, we cant hide it, what will we d-"

Jack put a hand on my shoulder "HAZEL, calm down, getting stressed isn't going to help this situation, the question is when will you be ready to tell them? Its you who has to deal with the excitement and the congratulations and people going 'oh can i feel' not me, whenever you are read, i am ready"

"You really are one soppy, indecisive bastard Jack Howard, but its a good job that i love you with all of my heart" i laughed and gave Jack a quick kiss before retrieving my phone to check the time, "well its currently 1am so i vote that we go to bed and invite them over tomorrow, sound good?"

I hadn't realised how tired i was until my head hit the pillow, being sick and sobbing really takes it out of you, Jack flopped onto the bed beside me and very noisily re-positioned himself to face me, "Jack?"

"Mmmm" he answered sleepily

"Thankyou, for everything, i know so many people who would have freaked out having seen that result today but you dealt with it so well and managed to stop me from freaking out. I love you"

Jack turned to rest the palm of his hand on my stomach, "i love you too Hazel"

I woke up to the sound of Jack singing in the shower, todays chosen song is Blank Space by the one and only TayTay, i laughed to myself as i sat up, grabbed my phone and invited Dan, Dodie and Dean for lunch, i didn't make it sound important or serious, i tried my best to act normal given the circumstances. As i put my phone down and swung my legs off the edge of the bed Jack emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a fluffy blue towel,

"Morning, firstly, you look like a teddy bear and secondly, Dan, Dodie and Dean are all going to be here in less than an hour so could you please tidy a little while i shower, get dressed and probably, due to how my stomach feels, be sick?"

Coming towards me and giving me a bear hug Jack replied "Morning to you to, i like to look like a bear because they give good hugs, okay i'd better get dressed, yes i can tidy and if you are being sick just call me for help, don't suffer alone"

Post shower i put on the comfiest smock dress that Dodie had recommended to me and managed to fight the sicky feeling as to go and inspect Jacks version of tidying, i was pleasantly surprised by his efforts as the doorbell rang.

I put down my vlogging camera having filmed everyones food by Dans request, which i had to take on board seen as he cooked it, when suddenly the mood in the room changed and became uncomfortably suspicious, it started a few minutes before the camera came out when i turned down a glass of my favourite wine, and just seconds ago Jack added fuel to the fire by saying the dreaded sentence, "theres something we need to tell you guys"

Under the table, Jack slipped his hand into mine as everyone around the table looked at me expectantly, i've seen this moment in films and its always a lot more exciting than this, in films the expectant mother looks ecstatic and has a glow about her while i'm here with my faded pink hair tied on top of my head holding back the urge to throw up, i took a deep breath and squeezed Jacks hand,

"I-I'm- we are- Fuck sake Hazel- I'm pregnant"

[DODIE} "OH MY GOD, i'm so happy for you guys, this is amazing, a tiny Jazel baby! Can i name it?

[DAN] "congrats guys your'e going to be amazing parents- I SHOTGUN GODFATHER"

[DEAN]"whats this about?"

we all laughed at Dean and carried on eating, i chatted to Dodie as all the boys joked around telling Jack that he was 'a lad' and for the first time since i found out myself, i was actually looking forward to being a mum, telling people wasn't as hard as i thought it would be and i felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders .

I turned to Jack and whspered, "i think i'm ready for the next nine months" he looked at me with pride as he kissed me gently, "me too"
