Erebus' Discovery!Erebus and Daphne finally, after 30 minutes of searching finally found the girls bathroom. After all, it was their first day. This place was huge, it was not that easy to find the locations you wanted to go to. When they were inside the bathroom, Erebus was quite surprised that all the toilets, sinks were destroyed. Now he knew the reason why the girls' had a bathroom at least, he thought with a chuckle escaping his lips.
Walking towards all the sinks were destroyed, he was quite surprised by the decorations on it. "Snakes..." He replied to himself as he followed the pattern, and when he finally saw the script and how to open it, he got interrupted. But not by Daphne, by another female voice.
"What are you doing here, boy?" The annoying female voice spoke as Erebus turned around to find a girl, but it was a ghost and she was floating in the air. Daphne just rolled her eyes in annoyance and turned her attention to Erebus. "Just ignore her...that is Moaning Myrtle...just an annoying former student..." Daphne told Erebus as he nodded continued to read on the script.
"You! You aren't going to go down there! That is dangerous, a monster lives there!" Myrtle replied terrified as Erebus began laughing. "Sure...and how do you know?" Erebus spoke as he hissed something in parseltongue and suddenly, the chambers opened up, revealing a deep hole to jump down. What Erebus did not know was that Myrtle was actually killed by that monster. Erebus looked to the side and placed a hand on Daphnes' shoulder. "Okay, I have no idea what she says is true, but if it is, it is safe for you to stay here. After all, only parseltongues belong here." Erebus spoke as he looked into her eyes. Myrtle was completely terrified at the sight. He was one of them? Out of those who had the rare ability.
Erebus gave Daphne a quick hug before he began go down, by using the ladder. The chambers closed immediately after he had gone inside.
"Hnn...what a crazy ghost." Erebus muttered while he walked one step down shaking his head, continued his way down, until the height was not thst high, then he jumped from the height, it maybe was 10meters until he fell down. The landing hurt more than he thought it would, until he looked down to realize that he fell on bones, skeleton.
Suddenly Erebus felt pain shot through his body. His hand moved its way through his shirt to find that he had hurt his back and the fall caused a wound. "Fuck..." He groaned as he stood up, using his hand to wipe off the blood from his back as possible.
Looking at the bones, he knew immediately. There must be something leaving there. He have heard rumours yes, but he never thought Daphne was serious about it. However, Erebus was not scared, it just was not in his nature. He walked his way, through all the dead corpses. It was no doubt it was human bones. Very old although. Walking through the dirty room, he finally found the entrance, to the main room. He just needed to hiss something in parseltongue, and then finally the door opened. Walking inside his eyes widened.
The place was huge! And compared to the first...dungeon. This one was clean, not a single corpse was here, it was even beautiful decorated at some places. But what made him very surprised was the huge statue. It must be the face of Salazar Slytherin, the creator! He made this place. Walking towards the statue, he rubbed gently against the statue. "Wow this place is really cool, isn't?" He hissed in parseltongue. He was not alone after all, because slithered around his body was none other than his snake.
"Kid...I sense...something huge, a family." The green snake hissed, which gained his atention. Turning his head, he looked into the blood red eyes Eria had. "Something...yeah.." He hissed back as he closed his eyes.
Suddenly, a huge slam was heard from nearby. It almost felt like the ground was going to shake, like an earthquake. Erebus sighed in no fear and turned around. His eyes now widening at seeing the huge creature now slither it's way smoothly towards them. "I think we shall-" the student spoke but did not have time, until the huge snake no basilisk. But he was surprised when he found the basilisk slither around Erebus and rested his head against the ground. "It's great to have you back master..." The basilisk hissed, but then looked at Erebus, his eyes was intimidate, and there was no doubt that it was that what was the basilisk weapon. The basilisk now reacting in a negative way.
"Wait! You aren't master...but why do you smell...and how did you come here?" He hissed in anger, Erebus yet showing no fear at all, grinning at the basilisk, he moved his hand to stroke it's body. "My name is Erebus, and who is your master may I ask?" He hissed back, which made the basilisk surprised, he knew parseltongue, well he could command him at least. And during masters' absence, well then he could follow the kid.
"His name...Tom Marvolo Riddle. But I haven't seen him for 50 years, do you know him?" The basilisk hissed as it slithered it's way in a less intimidate stance.
Erebus shook his head in denial. "I am sorry...I have no idea who that is...I have lived all by myself." Erebus replied as he closed his eyes. In some way he felt bad about the basilisk. Being locked down here all alone for 50 years, it must have been horrible.
"I guess you feed yourself by humans...sadly I cannot give you anything yet my friend." Erebus replied as he stroked the basilisk head. "I need to get out of here, before someone notice me, plus I want to see more things, you see this is my first day." Erebus spoke, at first the basilisk was dissapointed that Erebus won't let him free, but when he heard that it was his first day, he got very surprised.
"First day! And you are already here? You really are like Tom...I'll follow you, master..." The basilisk hissed as it shook it's head lightly, to show respect.
Erebus sat down on one of his knees and looked down, thinking before he tilted his head up. His eyes meeting the basilisk. "I cannot do much now...But I promise when the time comes, I'll let you out of this place, forever." Erebus hissed in anger, hating the fact thst the basilisk had to spend his time here alone. "I'll destroy them all when the time comes, Dumbledore..." Erebus spoke, this time not in parseltongue as he soon stood up.
"I really have to go my friend...I'll promise we will meet each other again, and that time you'll be out of this place..." Erebus hissed, there was no doubt he would let the basilisk free when the moment arrived.
The basilisk shook it's head, knowing he did not have all time in his day. Even though he was sad by the fact it was just a short visit. "Farewell then, for now. Hurry!" The basilisk hissed before it slithered it's way out of the room, leaving Erebus alone with his snake.
"Well well, I guess I got myself an ultimate weapon." Erebus spoke, before laughing. Now everything would be a lot easier for his plan in the future! Hopefully no one would find out that there is a secret chamber here with an dangerous basilisk. Erebus chuckled one last time before running his way towards the entrance and out of the Chambers to meet up with Daphne in Slytherins' common room.
Daphne started to get worried. Not because she had any feelings for the boy, no she didn't! She just feared that someone has found Erebus, or something happened to him. She paced around their common room, thinking. "Oh god...let him just be alright..." She said to herself as sweatdrops ran down both cheeks.
"Alright? Me?" A voice was heard from behind. There stood Erebus, his shirt slightly ripped off from the fall earlier and the wound was visible.
"I am not an idiot." The powerful child spoke with a smirk on his lips.Authors' Note: That was it of this chapter! God this one Wasnt Good. Well I had writers block and I just had a hard time writing in overall! I hope it gets better tommorrow. Anyways hope you liked it!
