“Oh my God, can you please turn this off? There could be important news castings!” I roll my eyes after Anna speaks.

“What’s there to hear? The world’s going to shit; people are eating each other, blah blah blah.” I shrug and keep the song on. I mouth the words to ACDC’s “Big Balls” and Anna groans.

        “My God.” She mumbled.

And I'm just itching to tell you about them

Oh we had such wonderful fun

Seafood cocktail, crabs, crayfish

But we've got the biggest balls of them all

Ball Sucker

Ball Sucker

Ball Sucker

Ball Sucker!

I sing loud and grin at Anna.

“That is the most stupid song I’ve ever heard.” I look over and then back at the road.

“Really? So Justin Bieber and One Direction songs don’t ring a bell?” I glance and see a smile on her face and then she looks out of the window. We’ve been on the road for about an hour now. The further south we go, the worse it seems to get. The paper Miranda had given me had the address of a place on it, which was in Bristol, Rhode Island. We took MA-2 E and I-495 S and it’s taking quite a while. There were abandoned cars on the highway, people running from them. That caused some time, and we still have around another hour until we’re there.

“Can you grab me that tape?” I say, pointing to the one by her feet.

“This one? ‘Airbourne’?” I nod and grab it, putting it in. My favorite song comes on, ‘Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast’. It starts playing and I turn it up more, rolling down my window.

“You’re fucking nuts.” Anna says as I sing along, wanting the chorus to come faster. I grin.

I'll sit and spin for a little while

If it's the end of days

I'm goin out in style

Too much, Too young, Too fast!

I'm gonna drink it up while it lasts

Too much, Too young, Too fast!

I'm gonna tear it up so fill my glass!

I sing loudly and Anna groans and holds her head.

“Come on Anna, you have to agree with me on one thing; this song is perfect for the z-pocalypse!” She glares at me then holds her head again. I look at her and she looks at the road.

“Watch out!” I look at the road and slam on my brakes, skidding slightly. There was a crash a little bit ahead of us. People were trying to help someone stuck in the car, the person next to them nowhere to be seen. I drive slowly up to the cars that were stopped and turned off my car. I nod at Anna and she tilts her head.
