16. Detention.

Juvia's POV :
Ok Juvia you can do it, it's only detention, anyway you won't be alone, Gray will be there with you...
I walk in detention the next day and see Lucy.
" Lucy ? What are you doing in detention ? " I asked with a shocked face.
" Well me and Natsu kind of skipped class yesterday...and they called our parents" She said while playing with her thumbs.
" Okaaay...but where is Natsu ? "
" He's late, he's always late...he probably got schooled by his farther, he is as scary has a dragon!"
Poor Lucy she looks so lost without him...
" Lucy !! Sorry I'm late ! " shouted Natsu.
" About time Natsu...! " she said with a reassured face.
" Hey Juvia what are you doing here? " Natsu asked me.
" Well Juvia kind of didn't stop talking in class...." I said in an embarrassed way.
" Who were you talking to Juvia ? " Lucy asked.
" Gray..."
" Gray ?! You too have been really close lately. Are you guys dating or something ? " she asked jokingly.
" What ! No Juvia is not dating Gray! "
" Okok calm down! " She said with her hands in the air.
" Sorry Lucy, Juvia didn't mean to snap..." I said.
She smiled back and then the door slammed open it was Gray.

Gray's POV :
I can't believe I'm late for detention, I hope Juvia's not alone.
I'm late because my stupid car didn't want to start so I had to leg it!
When I finally arrived the doors were locked so I tried opening them but they ended up getting slammed open.
" Sorry for being late Miss Carla ! " I said hoping she wouldn't be mad.
" You finally decided to join us...take a seat. " She said while reading her book.
*huff*huff*huff*
I'm so sweaty.
" Pssst...Gray why were you late ? " Juvia asked.
" My car didn't want to start...wait is that Lucy and Natsu ? " I asked.
" Yes it is, they skipped class so their in detention too..." she said.
" Oh ok ! "
Weird normally when I am in the same room as Lucy I would feel butterflies in my stomach, but I feel nothing..
" Hey Juvia do you want to do something tomorrow ? " I whispered to her.
" What like just us two? " she said while blushing.
" Aha...if you want, let's call it a date! " what did I just say ?
" Then yes Juvia would love to do something tomorrow! " she said.
" Be quiet you too ! " said Miss Carla.
" Yes miss ! "

Timeskip to after detention :
" Wait for us Juvia and Gray ! " Lucy shouted.
We started to slow down so that they could catch up.
" We should do something, just the 4 of us! " she said.
We both looked at each other and nodded.
" What do you have in mind Lucy ? " I asked.
" Well there is this new restaurant near my house, would you guys want to go ? Say tomorrow at 12? "
" Well we were going to do something together but I guess we can reschedule " Juvia said.
" Ok great, I'll text you the details, bye see you guys tomorrow! " She said running off.
" Sorry Gray do you mind if we reschedule our *date* ? " she asked.
" Yeah, whatever..." I said with a smile.

Juvia's POV :
I kind of wanted to go out with Gray, but it has been a while since I've spent some time with Lucy.
" Gray tell me the truth are you jealous of Natsu and Lucy ? " I asked.
" Honestly I don't know...! " he said.
" She thought we were dating, how funny ! " I said while laughing.
" I don't think it's that funny..." He said while mumbling but I could hear him.
So I decided to give him a kiss on the cheek.
" W-What are you doing Juvia ? " he said while blushing.
" It's for all you have done for me...when you brought me back to your house ,when I was in the rain, when you bought me that dress and just for being my friend..."
" Oh..." He said while touching his cheek.
" I've got to go, see you tomorrow ! "
" Bye...! " he was still blushing.
