28. Begin Again

There kiss felt like hours and when they pulled apart not a word was said only stares.

"I remember....Tay......Taylor!!!! I remember!! I remember you but everything is a bit fuzzy in memory lane but I remember you.....I had forgotten you......I'm sorry." Karlie turned from happy into tears. "No baby I know but its okay you remember now and will work on it." She gave her another kiss. "Was there anything bad that I said." Taylor gulped and prepared herself for the pain again. "You were looking for Toni....you thought she was still your girlfriend and where always asking for her and that you loved her....." Taylor looked down holding back the tears. She was about to speak when she was cut off by another kiss words spoken by Karlie between it. "Hey....I'm...here your...okay...I only...lo...ve...you." The blue eyed girl got up and gave her the necklace she gave her the day of the accident and Karlie lit up. "This is real! I had seen it somewhere in my dream...well in my coma. I'm guessing you gave it to me. It has the T in that cursive writing you like and mine if it where a stamped....I know this. Thank you again." "Im just glad your getting better." "Do you know when I get released?" "Im not to sure its up to the doctor. I have to leave soon but I'll be back, I have school tomorrow the entire weekend off."

The sun was setting and Karlie was sad to see her leave and begging her to stay but gave in.....being bribed by cookies. When she got home she told her mother of everything that had happened and was glad.

*next morning

Taylor had her same routine and going to school much happier. Her teachers noticed the mood and team. When she told the team the news they they all screamed and wanted to leave immediately but agreed for after school.

The tall green eyed beauty had awakened and looked around hoping the her blonde was probably there watching her sleep but no little blue eyed blonde for her. She sat there and noticed a book and decided to pick it up. Once having a closer view it was a photo album of her and Taylor. She went through every Polaroid looking at the dates when they were taken. She saw a picture of her and Tay wearing jerseys but hers fit her small and the other big. Karlie knew that Taylor didn't play sports but on the other page she saw that her arm was around Taylor them looking out into the field and the back of the jerseys with their last name's and it clicked and felt a tear of joy roll down. The picture was beautiful and the vintage look. Wondering were the jersey was she made a mental note if she'll remember.

"Shhh...we don't know if she's asleep!" Lily shushed the rest of the girls. They opened the door slowly and found Karlie looking at the album. "Girl's!! Your here! I'm still remembering but your faces are looking familiar but I do know some of your names which is good." "Hey beautiful what you been up to?" "Looking at the album's and I have a question. Where is my jersey?" Taylor went over to the little closet and grabbed two and showed them to her. "Which one you want to hold. Don't think you can wear them just yet." "The Swift one but you where mine right now and tomorrow." "Sounds good to me." "Ah ha this bitch is sounding better and better. When are you getting out?" Cara broke the moment having some chuckles from the girls "Look whose talking. Doc said around maybe tomorrow hopefully. I wanna get back to school but practice damn can't till 3 weeks. How have the games been?" "We haven't lost but its been tough. Either a close game or an easy but mostly close." Martha explained. "Mmh well at least were still good you know. I believe someone owes me kookies." Wiggling her eyebrows at Taylor. "Here dork savour them don't swallow them chew."

"Yeah yeah no problem but that means tomorrow I get to be with you and well bake more!" And kissed Taylor smearing some chocolate on her lips.
