11 - The Final Chapter

 I decided to end the story in this chapter instead of deleting it.. An idea just popped into my head that the reader is apparently a-- oops.. Spoilers shall not be said.. UvU

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

I  waited for them to finish and heard Pap's boomin' loud voice from the kitchen and Frisk's cute complaints. Frisk may be a kid but she doesn't really act like one.. Much.

Sleep..

I sighed and closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep.. 

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

-Dreaming-

I was in darkness again, Flowey , Chara and Gaster were there staring at me worriedly

I knew what was going on and I didn't have time left, I had to do it now.

"Hey. Are you okay?!" Chara asked worriedly, she ran over to me kneeling down to my level. I didn't notice that I knelt down and held my head because of the pain. I let go of my head and turned to Chara. " Chara, I'm okay..." I answered reassuringly, I smiled softly at her. 

"Are you sure?!" Azzy asked, he appeared beside me, eyes full of worry and concern. I nodded, smiling . Gaster walked over to us and didn't sign or used telepathy, he kept quiet watching us.

I summoned my light purple-ish SOUL. It was bright as ever, and my HP raised to a normal 20 like any Frisky. I started tearing up chuckling, the tears were now streaming down my face like a waterfall although I was still smiling. The others were staring back at me confused and worried. They were staring at me and my SOUL back and forth until I spoke. "Chara, Gaster, I have a plan that will make you guys alive again. Asriel, I also have a plan to bring you back to your original form.." I said, I wiped my tears and thought of the good that will happen but it comes with a price..

Their eyes widen in surprise. Me, Chara and Asriel stood up and Gaster seemed happy about the news. " Really?!" Chara and Asriel screamed in happiness, they both hugged you smiling. Gaster patted me head and gave me a thumbs up.

My SOUL was the only light source in the darkness  and emptiness of this void.

They let go and stood a few feet away from me waiting for what I was about to say or do. I made my SOUL float in front of me and did my work. I split my soul with my magic into two separate SOULs, I converted the SOUL to my right into two strong monster SOULs that can last for a few seconds after dying aka boss monster SOUL? Eh I dunno.

I gave Chara the SOUL to my left and gave Asriel and Gaster the two monster SOULs to my right. Their eyes widened as they realised what I was doing. " What?! Why are you giving your SOUL(s) to us?!" Chara asked surprised, " I have some time left so I could still tell Frisk that I will disappear.. And I will tell you now, that giving you my SOULs requires a price," I said, morphing my face into a smile despite lace of sadness in my voice.

I will be forgotten, but it may be possible that... You guys, including Frisk will remember me.. I don't know who else will remember but please do me a favour.. Chara, Asriel, please right your wrongs and don't forget to apologize to Sans and change for the better.. And finally, W.D Gaster, please take care of Sans and Papyrus. And please help Alphys. " I said, in a positive but sad tone.

I sighed.

"One last thing, my sacrifice will also break the barrier. Somehow, I managed to gather enought magical energy I had left to create an artificial human SOUL. I have already begun the process of breakimg the barrier as we speak." I said, in a calm and cool way.  At least, trying to be.

"No.... WAI---" Before Chara could finish, the dream ended.

"HUMAN! WAKE UP! THE GRREAT PAPYRUS HAS MADE YOU SPAGHETTI!" Pap yelled, I fake smiled. "Pap, thanks for the spaghetti. But, not now.. Can I talk to Frisk for a sec? Privately." I said, I looked over to Frisk. "OF COURSE TALLER HUMAN!" Pap answered.

I quickly and swiftly grabbed Frisk's hand and pulled her outside the skelebros' house. Asriel, Chara, and Gaster were there, waiting. Frisk was filled with shocked, Something different than DETERMINATION eh..?Anyways, I had to speak fast before I disappear.

"Frisk, I split my SOUL and gave it to them... I don't have much time left... Everyone who knows me will forget about me and that is the price of giving my SOUL to them.. It will still be a possibilty that you guys will be the only ones to remember me.. I'm sorry.." I said, Frisk was surprised. "Please take care of them Frisk. Goodbye.." I said, I was about to walk away but Frisk stopped me.

"Wait!" Frisk yelled and hugged me. Her tears were threatening to fall down her face, she didn't stop her tears, so she cried. She didn't want to let go.

"Please! Frisk I have to go!! I don't want to let you see me fading away..!" I yelled, tears starting to fall down my face, I stuggled within her grasp. 

"No! I will NOT let go! Even if you disappear in my arms!" Frisk yelled at me, I cried even more. I kept struggling but to no vail, I gave in.  And hesitantly hugged back. Chara and Asriel had waterfall tears, joining the hug, Gaster also joined in trying to comfort them.

As I slowly fade away like monster dust, except that it was light purple dust.

And in my place, three special golden yellow lockets held the picture of the hugging session before I dissappeared.

2nd person P.O.V

They stared at the three lockets. Frisk grabbed the other locket while Chara and also Asriel took one of each. The kids whimpered, their tears  still falling down. Since it was evening,  most of the monsters were already home so it was okay.

After a few minutes of crying and comforting, they wiped their faces so they wouldn't look like as if they were crying. They all calmed down after a few minutes.

You were gone from the timeline but you were still there, watching.... You smiled .

You watched until the whole underground found out they were free. You watched Frisk and all of her friends step out of the underground, greeted by the sunset and the wind  that blew on their faces.

You saw the happy faces of Chara and Asriel as they were reunited with their parents.

The memories of Gaster with Sans and Papyrus came back. Sans and Papyrus looked shock but happy as well.

Sans smiled at an invisible entity.

Sans actually had a genuine smile this time.. Heh. I think he remembers you. Do you know why?

Meh I won't say..

Anyways...

Hmm...? What's that?

You wanna know who he's smiling at?

Heh, fine, alright I'll tell ya. He was looking at YOU, well... Your ghost.

You smiled back.

You were glad about what happened and told yourself.

"It was risky, but it was very much worth it."
