Morgan turns and looks up at him with a nasty grin "who's this homeless fuck" I look away "Morgan please. Youre causing a scene." He turned to me. "oh please. You're the whore here. Who's this asshole" elodin grabs him by the arm. "i think you should leave" Morgan stands and shakes him off. He leaves the shop no questions. Elodin stands there for a second. I just stare out the window. Tears well up inside my eyes. "is it okay if I sit here" he says in a soft tone. I wipe away a tear. "yeah". I managed to choke out. He gently sits down. "Do you mind If I ask who that was?" I looked at my laptop. "it's my abusive ex. I can't seem to get rid of him" I wipe away another tear. But as I wipe that one another falls. Elodin reaches across the table to wipe it was way but stops. "may I?" He asked politely. I blush as he brushes his finger over my cheek. I look up into his eyes. His eyes were fixed on my necklace. He seemed almost sad. "elodin. Are you okay" he snapped back to reality and into my eyes. His blue eyes had a darkness to them. Not a bad darkness. Just. A depressed one. "I'm fine" he smiled "your necklace reminded me of someone" he put his chin in his hand. I could see the vain in his neck. His head was slightly tilted. I had a sudden memory. The boy again. He hands me the guitar pick. It had an E on it. "promise me you'll never leave me alone" his words fade. I wish I knew who this boy was. He never ran through my memory before. I sigh. "I think I'm going to go home" he looks at my drink "but you haven't touched your coffee" I look him in the eyes. "I guess I can stay a bit longer." He smiles. "so. I'd rather not be a stranger to you. Do you want to know anything about me?" He asks. I think. "idk. Like. Do you live near" he thinks a moment. "I live on the other side of town." I nod. "Is there a favorite area in town you like to go?" He smiles. "the woods by far" he looks out the window "nature has a natural beauty to it. It's a non-manmade area." He looks at me. "it reminds me of the girl i used to love." He has a sad face. "aw. I'm sorry. Could you explain her to me? What happened?" He makes a fake smile "that's a story for another time. You're not far enough along to know that". I was confused by his words. But let them pass. "do you mind if I go home with you today. I'd like to spend more time with you"
