A Reason

Give me a reason,
One will be enough,
So that I can show you
The truth,
The horror,
The lies,
And you will be unable to refuse them.

No longer will you control me.
No longer will you use me.
No longer will I be contained,
Or restrained
In this box of glitter you manufactured.
To all their own,
And as I leave this house,
I wonder if it was ever my home...

Procrastinator.
A teenager.
A rebel.
A girl.
Me.
I am not who I was.
I am not yet who I will be.
I am all that you simply see.
I can only be what I am,
Nothing more,
Nothing less.

Just give me a reason to show you,
To know you,
As who I truly am.

Please...
