Natalie and I arrived at 3:59. Sarah answered the door.
"You're early! I said 4 sharp not" she checked the time "3:59!!!" We all laughed at that.
"So what did you want to tell us?" Natalie asked
"Just that we haven't been hanging out for a while and I'm going to go visit my grandma soon
and I want to spend a lot of time with you guys." Sarah said
"Oh, don't worry Sarah. I totally understand, but you sound really, really sappy" I replied. Natalie nodded in agreement.
"I knew it as soon as I said it." She said as we all burst into laughter.
A little while later, we decided to go over to Natalie's house.
"Natalie," Sarah said on the way to Natalie's house "How many dogs do you have now? There are so many!!!"
"4 but with the chihuahua 5" Natalie replied simply.
"You have a lot of dogs. I always feel like you have way more than you really have!!!"
Once we got there, we sat with the dogs and pet them for awhile.
"So..." Sarah said bored "Can we do something else now? I'm kind of bored."
"What do you mean 'bored'" Natalie bursted out
I stared in shock at her outburst.
"Well I just wanted to do something." Sarah fired back.
"Well we're doing something right now."
"I don't think we are doing any thing much."
"Well we are petting my dog."
"We've been doing that for awhile now. Can't we do something else?"
"LIKE WHAT??"Natalie said her voice rising
"I DON'T KNOW!!! SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN PETTING YOUR DOG!!!" Sarah's voice rising too.
"OH, SO YOU DON'T LIKE MY DOG?!?!"
"NATALIE YOU ARE PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH!!! I WAS JUST SAYING THAT I WAS BORED AND WANTED TO DO SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN PETTING YOUR DOGS, BECAUSE IT'S GETTING KIND OF BORING NOW. IS THAT SUCH A CRIME?!?!?!?!?!?"
"WELL THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST GO!!! YOU ARE JUST BEING RUDE TO ME." Natalie said. They were both screaming now.
"FINE!! MAYBE I WILL JUST GO!!!" Sarah stormed out of the room with tears streaming down her face. I could tell that she was really upset.
Sarah's POV (Point of View):
I ran out steaming. I called my dad. He should be here soon. I can't believe Natalie said that to me. But then again she has been acting weird lately. I gasped. Maybe I wasn't overreacting!!! Maybe she really doesn't like us any more!!! Naw. I have hope in Natalie. She is way better than that. I must has zoned out, because now my dad's honking at me.
Nikki's POV:
I watched as Natalie calmed down. Then things started to get awkward.
"Um, maybe I should just go now...." I said starting to back out of the room.
"Ok I just need some time to cool off."
