A/N
A certain someone asked for a part 2 for this and another story, so I will do as I am asked.

The pipe on the side of the building suddenly clashed against the wall, signalling that something or one was climbing up. Skidding away from the edge, I whipped out the dagger again, crouching. A figure landed on the roof near me, confused.

Standing up, they were not too much older than I was, judging by their height. Landing his eyes on me, he tensed, holding onto his crowbar. He took a glance at the cat, which stood not too far away from the both of us. Bending over, he enticed the cat with his hand, the cat purring loudly before bounding towards him.

The boy picked up the cat, facing back to me. I narrowed my eyes, slowly stepping back. My other hand still held the piece of bread and my company noticed. The cat jumped out of his arms towards my bread hand again, the boy running a hand threw his shortish brown hair. I backed up a bit more, tension hanging all around us.

Hiding my bread away, I sharply turned around and began to run away.

"Where are you going?" He finally spoke. I stopped and turned back around. I didn't want to respond. "Your eyes are quite hypnotising, take off your hoodie so I can see them." He spoke again, more warmly. The awkwardness almost choked me, I began running off again.

Clambering down the side of the building by a pipe, I landed on the ground and, once again, ran away. The air was freezing on my face as I went by fast, the coming of winter was concerning.

I ran further this time, until it hurt my lungs and legs to go any more steps. Collapsing near a puddle, I caught my breath, the cold, bitter air stinging my throat. I looked at my reflection in the puddle, I had blank blue eyes and grey hair that was a little bit past my shoulders. I didn't really look like a boy, but according to my older sister I did.

"Hiding away as well?" A new voice came from the closest ally. I peered down it. Speak of the devil. My sister crouched in the corner, reloading her gun. She got around easily.

"I met a weird boy and his cat. I'm willing to stay away from them." I replied. She had long silver hair in a pony tail and piercing green eyes. I joined her in the corner.
