Blinded Tomorrow

Chapter 3

(Reformed's PoV)

This girl. I could easily kill her now since her back is turned to me. Then again, she could've killed me if she wanted too. Why didn't she?

"Who are you?" I ask, "Why didn't you kill me when you had the chance?"

Her reply was emotionless, "How should I know?"

That's it? What does she mean? Oh well. She's a Previous. I have to kill her in the end. Wish I didn't though.

I slowly and silently bring my hand back to my belt to pull out my weapon. Before I barely even moved an inch, she sliced at my wrist. Cutting my tendon.

"What the-?" I looked up to see that she was facing me. I don't understand how she knew what I thought at what my eyes saw.

"Yea yea. Shocked that I'm blind? Not very surprising," she replies with an obviously sarcastic tone.

(Navi's PoV)

"Yea yea. Shocked that I'm blind? Not very surprising," I say sarcastically.

I knew he was shocked from the way his body froze for a split-second when I turned. I also knew that Reformed and Renewed regenerate really quickly. Cutting his tendon was only a way of stalling time.

"Che. Girls shouldn't be out fighting," He says quietly.

"Why so stereotypical?" mocking his comment. "Lost a girlfriend or something other?"

I believe I was correct. The moment I said that he attacked me. I managed to dodge it, thankfully. I also noticed that his temperature rose a lot. Anger, I guess. Either way, now the fighting begins.

Lost a girlfriend or something? That comment set something off. I'm a Reformed, so my memories were taken away. I was originally a Previous and I know it. Yet, I still fight for the Renewed. I wonder why. Whatever, I have to...
