"Lucy?" Niall whispers but I ignore him again. Staying cuddled into his side, my eyes closed.
A smirk playing on my lips. I know he'll get irritated of me ignoring him, but he gets so cute when he does.
"Lucy." Niall whispers again, this time prodding my cheek with his finger. And I laugh.
"What?" I turn to him, smiling brightly up at him.
"Are you watching this movie or not?" He asks.
"Hmmm, not?" I giggle as he rolls his eyes.
"You're telling me I've had to sit through over an hour of this little kid movie that you chose when I could of been watching something scary and thrilling?!" He mocks and begins tickling my sides.
"Niall," I squeak. "Niall! Stop!" I try wriggle from his arms but he holds onto me tightly.
"Never!" He grins into my neck as he plants a soft kiss there.
"Hey Niall?"
"Hey Lucy," He replies and I smile. It's kind of turned into our thing.
"I love you." I whispers against his arm.
"I love you." He replies, his fingertips stroking up an down my bare shoulder from my singlet top. "Even when you're dressed in sweatpants and a singlet, I still love you." He teases.
"I love you, even though your football team looses to mine all the time." I rub in his face and he pouts playfully.
"Hey, that's a low blow."
"You had it coming, dis my beloved sweats and you're in for it." I tease back.
"You have the cutest little bum in them anyway, I think they're becoming my beloved sweats." He cheekily taps my butt and I giggle and swat his hand away.
Tangled in eachothers embrace on my bed, the comforter disassembled from our play fight earlier, which I had won by the way. The feeling of his steady heart thumping against me, his beat in unison with mine made the world a happier place.
"What are you thinking?" He mummers, his voice coming out a little rusty from the pause in conversation.
"You." I answer easily and his smile brightens before he dips his face down and rubs his nose with mine affectionately.
"Hey Lucy?"
"Hey Niall,"
"You're the best thing that ever happened to me." He tells me as his lips lightly graze over my cheek, soft and affectionate.
After dating for almost five months, Niall and I have come to the easy going part of our relationship. We no longer jump eachothers bones in a fit of passion whenever we get the chance or time alone. And we have the odd make out every known and then, but I like where we are now. Comfortable, cozy and content with cuddling. I like it very much.
"Funny you say that, cause you're the second best thing that ever happened to me." I smile.
He smiles back before my words register with him, and he frowns.
"What do you mean second best?"
"Well, maybe first equal then. I'm sorry Niall but my love for Nandos is capable of beating you. Better step up your game or you'll be beaten by chicken." I tease and he laughs.
"Yeah, I can't disagree with that. Nandos is definitely a high light of life. But even then, you're still number one." He says sweetly, before planting a sweet kiss on my waiting lips.
