Jooheon

"YA! Don't you ever do that again!" you shouted and slapped him.

A boyfriend, which is now your ex-boyfriend came close to you. He didn't seem embarrassed over what you have done to him. His face was so close to yours that you could feel his breath.

"I'm not gonna leave you like that. I know I've done wrong towards you. I just... can't leave you. You are my everything." He said, his eyes aimed at your lips as he came closer and closer.

His lips was about to touch yours until a young man held your hands and pulled you away from him. You were shocked by that young man's action. You couldn't see his face, as he wore a mask and a cap. It covered his face pretty well.

"I'm sorry, but please don't ever say that she's your everything after what you have done towards her. Now, would you please excuse us. Have a nice day." You stared at that young man, confused to why he said that. As you both walked away from your ex-boyfriend, his hand was still holding onto yours. Suddenly, he pulled you, making you face him.

"Ya! Are you okay? Why would you just stand there and do nothing when he was about to kiss you?!" He pulled his mask down, revealing his face. It was your best friend.

"Jooheon?! Why are you here? You weren't suppose to be here!" You punched his right forearm continuously.

"Ya ya ya! It hurts! I'm here because I had a bad feeling about THAT guy." He explained. "Honestly though, why? Why would you still go out with him? Even after he cheated on you THRICE!" He looked at you with his 3 fingers sticking out, to show number 3.

You couldn't look at your best friend. Your eyes starts to become teary. "I'm sorry, Jooheon-ah. I know I'm stupid. I was blinded by love. I was blind to even see that he cheated on me." You knew you shouldn't cry in front of Jooheon but you couldn't take it. You had to. Without noticing, Jooheon hugged you. He embraced you. You could feel his love and his kindness to comfort you.

"Y/N-ah, let's go home. You need rest. Don't worry, I'll be by your side."

As you both reached your apartment, you quickly went to the bedroom's washroom and took a shower. Jooheon, on the other hand, took a shower in the guest's washroom. You both didn't share the same apartment, but sometimes, Jooheon would stay overnight at your place. Hence, his clothes being left behind in the guest's wardrobe.

As you both were done, you sat on the sofa and turned on the television. You tried to ignore the fact that you had broken up with your boyfriend, but you couldn't. You started to cry again. Jooheon noticed you crying when he was in the kitchen. He gladly made 2 hot chocolate and brought it out to the living room. He placed the hot chocolates on the coffee table and embraced you. Immediately, you placed your head on his chest and his hands started to rub your back.

"It's okay, Y/N..." he comforted you.

"Y/N-ah... I know this is a bad timing, but I really cannot take it anymore. I just need to tell you something really important." both of you faced each other as you broke the hug.

"What is it? You can tell me now.. I'm fine." you said, wiping your nose.

"I know we've been friends since high school. You helped me a lot back then, and even now. Year after year, I started to......." he didn't continue.

"Please continue, Jooheon-ah"

"I started to like you... Now, I can't even say that I like you. I just love you. I couldn't stop thinking about your safety when you were with your ex-boyfriend and whether you ate well with him around. I... just... love you..." he looked at his hands as he spoke.

"You should've told me earlier, you dumb dumb." you started to laugh a little. You took his hands and rubbed them as you look at him.

"I know you treat me as your best friend. But I couldn't think that way, I have always treated you more than that." he continued.

"Jooheon-ah. I really like you, but right now, I don't think it's the right time.... It will have to take time. Maybe, just maybe, I'll love you too and forget about that stupid ex-boyfriend." You gave him hope. His eyes widen.

"Then, I'll make you mine for sure!"
