Hyungwon

The sunlight slit through the spaces between the curtains, shining on your face. You opened your eyes slowly, trying to get used to the brightness of the room. You turned your body to the right and faced your husband, Chae Hyungwon. Yes, you're one of Monsta X's wife. You stared at his facial features. His eyes, his nose, his lips are just perfect. You couldn't stop loving him since the day you met him. You started to sigh as you turned your sight to the clock. It showed the time, 8.30 AM. You got out of bed slowly, holding your tummy, not to wake Hyungwon. You then slipped your feet onto the slippers and walked to the kitchen. 

As you reached the kitchen, you opened the refrigerator and took a few ingredients before taking some flour from the cupboard. You started to cook breakfast for the both of you. Suddenly, you felt a pair of arms wrapped around your waist , hugging you. 

"Good morning, honey." He smiled as he greeted you. He placed his chin on your shoulder and asked, "What are you cooking?" 

"Well, as you can see, my lovely, sexy, kind husband, i'm making pancakes." You replied with a smirk on your face. 

"Must be nice to eat." He kissed your cheek before walking to the fridge to get a glass of water. 
"I'm not going to work today," he continued, "I'm spending time with my wife." He poured some water in his favourite cup as he said. "We can go shopping, finally!" He said cheerfully.

He had been asking his manager for a day off just to go for shopping. Although you told him that you could just go with your mom, he said that it was a must for him to go with you. 

As you were still cooking, he kept talking about what both of you should buy at the shopping mall. Words like, baby clothes, bottles, toys, pacifier, bibs, came out of his mouth. He must have been really excited to buy those since it was his first time, soon-to-be father. You couldn't stop giggling as he talked. 

"Why? Why are you laughing?" He asked, suddenly.

"Hm? Nothing." You replied, still giggling away. He walked towards you when you were almost done making breakfast. 

He touched your tummy, rubbing it and said, "You've grown big, Y/B/N -ah. Your eomma and appa is going shopping today. We're gonna buy your beautiful clothes and bibs for you." You smiled as he kissed your tummy. You were happy that Hyungwon was excited to be a father. The first time, you thought, he wouldn't like it as he was an idol but he loved the news of you getting pregnant. 

You carried the plates filled with pancakes and walked to the table with your huge tummy.
"Y/N-ah, I'll carry them, you sit first. I'll bring water and maple syrup too." He quickly took the plates and placed them on the table. Then took the maple syrup and water from the fridge.

"Are you ready, Y/N?" He cheerfully asked you as he buckled your seatbelt. 

"Yeap!" you replied and kissed his cheeks. 

He started the engine car and drove to the shopping mall. As he drove, he started to hum to Monsta X's songs, especially 'Perfect Girl'. You kept staring at him, you just couldn't let your eyes off of him. Whatever he does, you just love to look at him.

After half an hour of driving, you both finally reached the shopping mall. Hyungwon took a shopping cart and pushed it towards you.

"Let's go get some baby stuff!" He pushed the cart, following your pace.

At the baby section, Hyungwon got a little more excited than you did. He started to internally scream at the cute baby clothes and showed them to you.

"We should totally get this! No, maybe that. No, no, that or that or that, maybe that!" He pointed at a few of them. You chuckled at the clothes that he pointed to.

"Oppa.... you need to chill. It's just baby clothes." You said as you took one of the clothes.

"Ya! I want our baby to be as fashionable as me, since I'm handsome, she should be as beatiful as me too." He said while posing.

You rolled your eyes, then laughed at his comment. "Right right, I forgot my husband is an idol." You looked at a few of the clothes and picked a few.

After choosing a few of the clothes, you both walked to the baby neccessities. Due to Hyungwon being a very excited human, he walked faster than you. From behind, you could see him jumping and singing as he pushed the cart. You couldn't say anything but to laugh at him.

You thought and smiled, "He must be really excited to be a dad."
