Shownu

You and Shownu are married, for two years now. You have been really bored at home. No voices, just sounds from the television everyday. Shownu, on the other hand, is always working, just to support us. Your parents kept lecturing you to have children. You knew, from day one, your parents always hoped that you and Shownu would have children. 

It was a normal day for you. As usual, you made breakfast for the both of you. For some reason, you felt like you were having headache while you were cooking. In fact, you have been feeling hot nowadays, but no fever was present. A day before today, you threw up twice. 

"Good morning, my love" Shownu kissed your forehead then walked to the refrigerator.

"What time are you leaving today?" You asked as you placed the plates on the table.

"I'm not going to work today. But Eomma is coming to our house in this afternoon." He explained as he ate.

"What? Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could've bought more ingredients yesterday!" You grunted.

"It's okay, we still have time. Since I changed first, I'll go down and warm up the engine of the car. I'll see you at the car park, alright?" He kissed your forehead again before leaving.

You sighed at the thought of your mother-in-law coming over at such a short notice. You quickly went to your room and changed, taking all the money you have and checking every part of the house was locked.

You went down to the car park, seeing your husband waiting for you in the car. You quickly got into the car and asked him, "What should I cook for her? I really have to be careful when it comes to food."

You know that his mother has allergy and you had to be picky for a day. As you both arrived at the mart, you walked around to get your ingredients. Unknowingly, you walked at the baby section. You were looking around and you saw a pregnancy test kit. You thought for a while, saying to yourself, "Am I? No, right? Should I?" 

You looked around for Shownu but he was not in sight. You took the pregnancy test kit and placed it in the cart. You wanted to see if you were really pregnant due to the incident. A moment later, Shownu came behind you and carried you. 

"Ya! What on earth...." You said while smiling and hit his right arm in the next second.

"Trying to be romantic here." He said smiling widely. "We haven't been on a date ever since we got married. I keep on working, that I just want to stay at home or go on a trip for a month. Can I just do, Y/N-ah?" He asked while you both walked, pushing the cart together. 

"Well, you have to ask your manager that. I wish I can be your manager so that I can see you all day every day." You giggled and stared at him lovingly. "Oppa, have you ever thought of having children?" you suddenly asked. 

You both stopped at some random section. He looked into your eyes as he replied, "Of course. I always thought about it whenever I reach home. Sadly, we only did once or twice." He came close to you and looked at your lips. You could feel him breathing and your heart started race. Your eyes were about to close as his lips came nearer and nearer, until someone walked to the aisle that you both were at. You both immediately backed away from each other, trying to act normal. 

As you walked, you coughed due to the embarrassment . "Urm, I think we are done shopping, right?" you said as you looked at the cart, then back to Shownu. 

"No, we're not done yet. You forgot this." he threw hearts with his fingers to you, making you laugh at his actions. He laughed together with you, making you hit his arms. At that moment, he held your hand and pushed the cart for you. You haven't felt that kind of love from him since and it was an amazing feeling. After paying for the items, Shownu placed all the shopping bags at the back of the car and then sat on the driver's seat. 

"You ready?" he asked and you nodded. He looked at you and saw that you were not wearing your seatbelt. He pulled the belt from your side and clip it in, saying, "I want my wife to be safe as I drive. Always wear your seatbelt whenever you're in the car, okay? That, unless you want me to help you." He winked at you, making your heart flutter. 

As he drove back home, you felt like you wanted to throw up. Luckily, his car had plastic bags in the compartment of the car. You quickly opened it, took a plastic and threw up. 

"Y/N-ah, are you okay?" he rubbed your back, hoping that it helped. "We're almost there." 

After 10 mins, you reached your apartment. Shownu didn't allow you to carry any of the shopping bags and then placed them near the refrigerator. Before you went into your room, you took the pregnancy test kit from one of the shopping bags. You quickly went to the washroom and tried it. 

"OH MY GOODNESS!" you shouted. 

"Why? Y/N, are you okay? What happened in there?" Shownu asked as he reached the washroom. A second later, you went out of the washroom, holding the test results. 

"Oppa............. You're gonna be an appa!" you said happily and showed him. He stared at the test results and checked the instruction paper to confirm. He smiled from ear to ear, carried and spun you around.  

"I'm going to be a dad!" he shouted cheerfully. "We need to tell our parents about your pregnancy! They are gonna so hyped to have a grandchild!" You nodded happily as he embraced you.
