“Next one, next one, who's the next one?” Grell danced around the room singing his little song until stopping at you. “You're the next one yes you are. Follow me now my dear.” He was still talking in a singsongy voice as he led you to the middle of the ballroom. “Here we are, in the center of the room, all eyes on us.” He giggled. “Now, pick your item dear.”
“Way to make everything all weird and tense Grell.” You placed your hand in his purse and pulled out some sort of strange looking plant. “What, the heck is this?” You studied the plant a moment before Sebastian took it from your hands.
“My most since apologies, but opium is not something that the young master cares to have in his home.” Sebastian turn and walked away with the item without another word.
“Lau, opium is your item, isn't it?” Grell had an annoyed look on his face.
“Ah! So it is.” Lau stood up from his chair and walked to you. He had a smile plastered to his face. “So, are we all ready to start? I must admit, I'm rather enthusiastic about this.”
“I suppose, but first.” Grell searched Lau's pockets for any other drugs. “Okay, now we're ready.” He took you both to the closet and let you sit down. “I'll see you in seven minutes. Just scream if anything weird starts to happen, I wouldn't want to miss it.” Grell laughed as he shut the door.
“This is very nice. Very peaceful too.” Lau sat next to you, eyes shut, as usual, relaxing against the wall. “I could easily fall asleep in here with you, but, I'm not supposed to be sleeping now am I?” He let out a quite laugh.
“No, I suppose not.” You blushed.
“Yes, yes...” He fell silent for a moment. “What is it we're supposed to be doing in here?” He tilted his head, his smile never fading. “I seem to have forgotten.”
You were dumbstruck. “Are you serious? You walked into this game blind as to what you're supposed to be doing? Who does that kind of thing?” You were pretty angry at him for botching up your turn like this. “You're supposed to be kissing me. This is a makeout game.”
“Ah, I see.” He stroked his chin. “No need to get angry. I am quite good with women as I'm sure you know. I'm sure I can accommodate you. Now, I suppose I should begin, since Grell said he'd be back soon.” Lau, despite what he was saying, was taking his sweet time doing anything at all. “Yes, he should be back any time now.”
“Would you stop stalling already.” You had spoken much louder than you meant to.
“Of course.” Lau caressed your face and quickly brought you into a kiss. It was all he had time to do before the door was opened by Grell.
“Your time's up you two.” Grell winked. “I hope nothing too strange happened while I was away.” He laughed. “Of course, unless you wanted it to that is.”
“How very sad.” Lau moved away from you, his smile turned to a frown. “We had only just begun our game and it's already over.” He sighed. “If only we had more time, there was so much more I had wished to do.”
“You idiot.” You whacked him on the back of the head. “You waited until the last minute before you did anything. It's your fault nothing happened.”
Lau only laughed. “I suppose you are correct. But nothing says we must be in a closet to kiss now does it? Besides, if you're so desperate you could always come come with me. I have plenty of other women there for you to talk to.”
Grell shook his head. “That's not going to make her want to go home with you Lau.”
