"Would you just hurry up and pick someone out already? You're taking forever and a day to do this." Growing impatient with Kuroko's slowness, Riko tried her best to hurry him along. "If it's so much trouble, why don't you just let me pick out your partner for you. I know that's not how we all agreed to play, but I'll make an exception for you."
"No, that's alright." Still lazily looking over the group, Kuroko shook his head. "I can do this on my own, I just need another minute to do it." As Riko starting grumbling to herself about how slow he was, Kuroko slowly walked over to where you were seated and offered you his hand. "Would you mind being my partner?"
Embarrassed that he'd chosen you after all this time, you awkwardly took his outstretched hand and stood to your feet with a hot blush resting on your cheeks. "N-no, not at all. I'd actually really love to be your partner."
"Good." Rather apathetic about the whole thing, he tightened his loose grip on your hand and led you into the closet. Riko closed the door and locked it as soon as you were both inside. Even with the small room suddenly far closet. Riko closed the door and locked it as soon as you were both inside. Even with the small room suddenly far too dark to see, Kuroko managed to get you both in comfortable positions on the floor. After that, however, he didn't do or say anything for quite some time. When he did finally speak, the sound of his voice actually made you flinch. "Now what?"
"W-well, since we're alone, and the door is locked, I would guess that we're supposed to start playing the game now." You quietly cleared your throat, trying to remove the shakiness from your tone. "I don't want to push you or anything like that, but if we don't start playing pretty soon, I doubt anything at all will happen while we're in here."
"Oh, okay." Kuroko nodded in agreement, but didn't move to do anything. After another thirty seconds passed, he spoke again. "Are you going to do something?"
"Me?" With wide eyes and a fiery blush, you pressed your fingers to your chest and quickly shook your head from side to side. "Oh no, I don't think that would work out very well at all. I have no idea how to do things like this." Blushing even worse than before, you let out a nervous sounding laugh. "If you wanted to do something though, I wouldn't stop you."
Kuroko nodded again, but stayed complacent in his spot. A few seconds later, he started to scoot closer to you. He was so quiet, you barely noticed that he had moved at all. "Did you want me to do something?"
"Well, sort of, yes." You focused your eyes on the ground and began wringing at your fingers.
"I thought so." Calm to the point of being almost emotionless, he placed his thing, fragile looking hand on your hot cheek and gently started to bring you closer to him. The closer he got to you, the more you subconsciously started to pull away. "You're backing away from me. Did you change your mind."
"A-am I? I'm sorry, I don't mean to." Feeling almost a little bit guilty for this, you took a deep, calming breath into your lungs and slowly released it. "It's just that with your eyes open like that, it makes this really embarrassing."
"I'll close my eyes then." Fully understanding what you were saying, Kuroko loosely closed his eyes and moved his hand from your cheek to the nape of your neck. This time when he brought you close, you didn't shy away. His kiss was so soft, and so gentle, you weren't even sure that he was actually kissing you. Just to be completely sure that you weren't in fact kissing the air, you placed your hand on his shoulder and leaned forward. The feeling of his lips, now firmly planted on yours made your heart skip a beat. If you had had even one more moment alone with him, you would have forgotten that you were in a closet altogether.
The sound of Riko unlocking the door, however, immediately reminded you where you were and caused you to quickly whip away from Kuroko, but it was too late. She had seen the kiss and was genuinely shocked by it. "Okay, that's it. I admit that I might be the worst judge of what's going to happen in here." She groaned. "But seriously, who in this room actually thought that Kuroko was going to get any action at all? I mean, I'm actually kind of surprised that you could find him. He's invisible in broad daylight, I can't imagine trying to find him in the dark."
"He's really not as easy to lose as everyone acts like he is. I didn't have any trouble at all finding him. Actually, I never even lost him. Maybe you all just aren't paying enough attention to him. Right Kuroko." There was no answer. "Kuroko?" You looked beside you, where he had just been and saw nothing but an empty room. "O-okay, never mind. I take that back. Maybe he is just a little bit invisible."
