As that thing got closer I came up with a plan. I'm guessing that the cameras are connected by the cords by his neck. If I cut that he won't be able to see us. I put the kitten into my shirt and I turned to Riddick.

"Stay here" I whispered.

I peeked the corner to see the Syber's location and it was on the opposite side searching behind some foliage. I slowly backed up, I needed to go around the building. As I reached behind the building I saw that the Syber turned back to go towards the front of the building, which was bad considering I needed to go from behind it. I looked on the ground for something to make noise and I found a rock that was a good size and I threw it aimlessly. The rock just so happened to bounce off the vehicle Riddick was hiding behind and hit Riddick in the privates, it caught him by surprise and he glared at me. I mouthed sorry and noticed in the background that the Syber was returning and heading towards Riddick so I quickly but stealthily ran around the station and back to the Syber. When I was fully around the building I saw the Syber closing in on Riddick and I heard it start to growl. I ran full speed and jumped on the back of the robot, pulled out my knives, and cut the cords. I hopped off and smirked as the Syber was thrashing around everywhere. The commotion must've startled the kitten and she started to cry, unfortunately for me, the Syber noticed and froze in place and turned towards me, which wiped the smirk off my face. The kitten had also captured the attention of Riddick but since the Syber was no longer focused on him he rushed to it. Since the Syber couldn't see, Riddick caught the thing off guard, he grabbed it by the carbon fiber jaws and ripped it open until it snapped off and the Syber dropped to the floor. The kitten was still crying, so I took her out of my shirt and tried to calm her down.

"We need to get out of here now. Also, get rid of that thing, it will only slow us down." Riddick stated.

Riddick gathered supplies and headed towards our base, I was having a hard time deciding if I was going to leave the kitten or not. I didn't want to leave her but, he was right, she may slow us down. I sighed and with a heavy heart, I gently placed the kitten down on the ground and left to gather supplies but as I was walking the kitten grabbed onto my leg with her claws, and it hurt a little. I looked down at her and something in my head told me not to leave her. I crouched to the ground to get a better look at the kitten. I smiled as she was playing with one of my daggers. Her eyes are a piercing purple with a hint of silver, she looks nothing like her mother; Maybe her father was like her. She has an unsymmetrical pattern, with her body being mostly sand or silver sand colored with a latte brown patch over her right eye and the same color markings under her left eye and that side of her face was white. Her forehead had silver brown tabby markings as well as some parts of her body. The tips of her ears and tail, left front paw and right back paw are white along with patches on her chest and stomach. The other paws had a dark brown taupe color that went up the leg and faded to the silver sand color that was on the rest of the body.  She also had dark brown taupe rings near the end of her tail. I felt her fur, which was like petting a cloud, I had to make a decision quickly. I looked around and I found an empty bag, one I could use to carry her around in and I could use my bag to gather supplies. I grabbed it and put her in carefully then I went to pick up a few things and stuffed them into my bag as I was about to leave something was reflecting off the sun in the sand. I picked it up and brushed it off, as the sand fell off it I could see what it was clearly. It was a sword or sabre, I can't tell the exact type and It was attached to a leather harness. I put it on and it was a perfect fit; After grabbing a few more things, I ran to where our shelter was. It is a large area of trees and wild grass, small watering holes, and a cave. As I walked into our camp area Riddick looked over at me then his eyes fell upon the kitten.

"I told you no, it will slow us down and cause problems" he growled starting a fire.

I glared at him.
