"Chloe, give me the damn Pop-Tarts!" I whined, trying to chase after my annoyingly childish older sister who was currently holding the box of Pop-Tarts and running away from me. The only thing separating us right now was the kitchen island, and we were on either side of it.
"No!" she exclaimed while narrowing her eyes at me. "Did you not see my last tweet to you? I told you I wasn't gonna give you any food for ignoring me!"
"I didn't think you were being serious!"
"Well as you can see, I am!"
"Chloe," I wailed, my puppy dog face forming. "Don't you care for your little sis? Why do you wanna watch me die in hunger? How could you be so... Cruel." I clasped my chest dramatically with an exasperated sigh. "You don't love me. You must not, since you're being so harsh to me with my favorite food in the wor—"
I was cut off by a flying box of Pop-Tarts landing right in my arms. "Just because you wouldn't shut up," she mumbled, rolling her eyes in the process. I opened the box, grabbed one and peeled the wrapper off, taking a bite out of the pastry. I smiled cutely at Chloe.
"Thanks, Chlo. Love you!"
"Yeah, yeah," she said, but smiled anyways. She made her way to the fridge, opening the freezer section and pulling out a homemade popsicle. "So what exactly has your attention diverted these days?" she asked, making me stop mid-bite.
"Um, what?"
"Oh, don't play don't dumb with me, Hayden. I know you. Something's been going on with you lately. Tell me."
I debated on whether or not to tell her. If I tell her, she's going to freak out on me and God knows how fangirls get. If I don't tell her, she's gonna know I'm lying. I bit my lip, not knowing what to do.
"If you don't tell me... Then I guess I'm just gonna have to find someone else to go to SummerSlam with me," she sighed sadly, dramatically gazing up at the ceiling for emphasis. My eyes widened.
"You got us tickets?"
"Well, I got me tickets — unless you're gonna tell me what's been going on with you."
I sighed. "You're not gonna believe me."
"Try me."
"Seth Rollins messaged me on Twitter."
"The Seth Rollins?"
"Yup."
"Okay. I don't believe you."
"See?" I scoffed, rolling my eyes.
"Show me and then I'll believe you for real," she persisted.
I rolled my eyes before grabbing my phone out of my pocket. I opened the Twitter convo Colby and I shared, giving the device to Chloe and continuing to munch on my Pop-Tart. "Oh my God, Hayden!" she squealed. "Seth freaking Rollins messaged you! How are you not dying right now?"
"Eh," I said, taking another bite out of the Pop-Tart after shrugging my shoulders.
"You know I should totally be jealous of you, but I'm actually not. I secretly shipped you two. I know it's weird for me to ship my sister and my idol but I just did, okay? Honestly, I think it's the hate you had for him that totally sailed the ship —"
I nearly choked once I comprehended the things Chloe was telling me. "You what us?" I grimaced, horrified. I reached for the random water bottle that was on the kitchen countertop and started chugging it down.
"Ship! Pay attention. And I also may or may not have written a Wattpad fanfic about you two —"
Water suddenly splashed everywhere as the liquid flew out of my mouth in shock. I clasped my hand onto my mouth, looking at her weirdly. "Chloe, what the fuck?" I exclaimed. My God, I have such a weird sister. I love her, but damn.
"Gross, Hayden. Gross. You better clean that up."
I rolled my eyes and set the water bottle back down on the countertop. "You are the weirdest person on Earth, you know that?"
"I know. And I'm damn well proud of it."
