This piece is slightly religious, and I wrote it during a writing workshop, if you're not Christian, please don't take any offense.
Jesus said to love one another, how hard can it be?
You say that you are.
But the reality is that you've failed. Because the only ones who have truly achieved that are the ones we've ostracized.
The Homos, the Gays, The Lesbians, The Bisexuals.
Whatever you call them.
They are the ones who went above and beyond, ignoring the others who tried to talk them out of it. Their seriousness has become a joke, an insult. Used as weapons for the ones we hate when we have nothing else to throw at them.
We falsely accuse them of being something they're not.
And it's an insult.
To the Homos, The Gays, The Lesbians, The Bisexuals.
Whatever you call them.
With how we treat them, we don't deserve anyone's love.
People don't realize that when they say that they hate Gays, they're saying they hate God too.
Because God loves everyone. Woman or man.
Young or old.
Homo or Gay or Lesbian or Bisexual.
Whatever you call them.
Which means that God's love fits the definition of them too.
Whatever you call them.
