Chapter 7: Lunch with L Part 2

Y/n PoV

Recap of the last chapter.

We walked to the front entrance. We were both surprised to see that the car was already here. Near locked the front door and we walked to the car.

I hope theirs no trouble.

Now back to the story.

Me and Near were both in the car waiting to be at the science center for lunch. Near kept on looking out the window. I wonder what the meeting is about? How does Near know L? Does Matt and Mello know L too?
Does that mean that Near, Matt, and Mello are L's successors?

Near..... Is that what your hiding from me? Or are you just lying?

"Miss y/n, I think we arrived at the science center." Near said.

We both climbed out the car. I looked at the front entrance to see that Watari was standing their waiting for us.

"Hello Miss y/n and Near." Greeted Watari.

"Hi Watari, may you lead us to lunch?" Near asked Watari.

"Of course, Near, follow me" Answered Watari.

Watari lead us into the building. It was the same when I lasted entered. But instead of leaving me in the lobby he lead us up a flight of stairs. He then walked into a dining hall with only 11 people in it.

I saw L standing with a man. He had brown hair and brown eyes, he seemed cute but also mysterious as well. He must be an interesting man.

"L, Near and Y/n have arrived." Said Watari.

"Good now let the meting begin." L said in his usual monotone voice.

Near sat near L, so I sat nexted to him. Mello sat across from us with his partner and Matt sat next to him with his partner.

The other 6 people sat next to me and Near.

"So why did you call us L?" Asked one of the 6 other people. The person who asked had brown hair with brown eyes. He looked cute but mysterious.

"Well I wanted you, Light Yagami, to meet my successors." L said pointing at Near, Matt, and Mello.

What Mello and Matt are his successors too. I knew something was off with Near but Mello and Matt. Their both stupid!!

"What, L that's stupid." Said a different person. This person looks older than Light but younger than the rest.

"Matsuda, your the one who's stupid." Said a guy with an aphro.

"Gentlemen, no time for arguing. I want you to meet my successors. Please introduce yourselves. " Said L

Matt stood up first.

"Hello, my name is Matt. I'm L's 3rf successor. I'm good with computers and technology." Matt finished his sentence with that.

He then sat down. Mello then stood up

"Hello, my name is Mello. I'm L's 2nd successor. I'm good with taking action." Mello then sat down after he said that.

Time slowed for me to let me think. Near is L's 1st successor. That's why he's so smart and kind in taking action.

"Hello gentleman, my name is Near. I am L's 1st successor. I'm good with well as you see I am L's 1st successor." Near said without any emotion.

"These are my successors. I hope you will get to know them. I also want you to meet their partners........"

Cliffhanger, I also want names for Mello's and Matt's partners. Give me some names and if I think it's awesome for their partners I will use it and also a shout out too. Sorry for not updating, school sucks I'll try my best. And thank you MajesticBunnie for reminding to do a chapter. Thank you my friend and also my other friends for checking this story I owe all of you... well this story will continue then and I shall get to my goal of 52 chapters..... well shall we get this story on the roll?
