Astrid's POV:

The Midnight sky shone and the moon lit it's halo above the two dragon riders as they were about to take their leave back to the Edge. "Hiccup I just wanted to say thanks , I really owe
you " Astrid spoke with the cutest smile towards Hiccup, "Ah it's no big deal , you've had done the same for me " Hiccup responded with a blush in his cheeks. " I can't imagine a world without you in it either " Astrid spoke with a blush and flew off back to the edge with a smile .

iccup's POV
As Hiccup stared at the burning viking ship he realised that he had spaced out a little too long , so he flew back to the Edge hoping Astrid wasent asleep by the time he had arrived.

(Time skip )
Once hiccup arrived to the Edge he saw stormfly just entering the stables, he knew that Astrid had just arrived and that was a good thing because he wanted to check on her before she slept. Hiccup flew down towards the stable, jumping off as he landed and Walked towards the metalic sliding doors with a sleepy toothless at his side, As they both walked into the cozy stable he saw that Astrid wasent there and that stormfly just opened her stall all on her own . Hiccup marvelled at the dragon's knowledge on opening her stall because it usually took a human to do it . Hiccup suddenly knew that Astrid must have been in her hut so he signed toothless to fly up to their own hut so that hiccup could go see astrid without a sleepy baby next to him . As toothless went inside to sleep hiccup took the opportunity to walk towards Astrid's hut , and as he got close he saw that the light was still on and glowing.
As Hiccup knocked on Astrid's door a faint sweet voice called him in and he did just that .

Astrid's POV:
As Hiccup walked in quietly Into my room a warm glow was felt and I knew that my heart was beating uncontrollably " hi hiccup , can't sleep ? I gave him a soft smile knowing what the answer to that question was. " yeah , I don't feel like sleeping so I came to check on you just to make sure , since what happened to you , I was very worried Astrid and I ment what I said.. If your not in my world.what would be the point of living ." Hiccup's blush and the seriousness on his face was enough to make me stand up and kiss him straight on the lips.
The closer I got to hiccup the more my shy cheeks became red I knew that I loved him ever since the day he took me on toothless's back . As I reached in to kiss him , I felt his strong arms wrap around my waist and just like that we leaned in and kissed till the night was no longer young.
