A week later I went to a tons of stores trying to get a pretty sign to ask Eric to prom. After I got all of my decorations together I sat down at my kitchen table trying to figure out what I should write. But then I threw everything away. Which wasnt much but oh well. The first place we kissed was on the 5th sidewalk to the left of his drive way in 10th grade when we was walking to his house. Im gonna go over there right now and on the one that we kissed on im going to write " will you smooch to prom with me?"
I also put my name too and a piece of chalk so he can write his response. Ill be across the street next to a tree so I can see his reaction. Im so excited, he has to say yes!
The next day later he asked me if I needed a ride home and I told him no. After that I ran as fast as I could to get behind the tree. I waited for hours. He never showed up. After 8pm I just walked back home with my head down.
At school the next day I asked him where he went. He said he went home. I wanted to tell him I knew he was lying, but I couldnt. After school again I ran behind the tree hoping he would see it today. I was leaning against the tree for about 30 minutes. Then I saw his face! But of course he was walking with Taylana. The was holding hands and her head was on his shoulder just like how we was in 10th grade. I slide down the tree and sighed as I plopped on the dirt.
When they came acrossed it he put his arm infront of her and read it. After Tayana read it she laughed hystarical. Eric frowned and looked at me. He got on his knees and wrote somthing with the chalk. They both keep walking and went in his house. I got up slowly and looked both ways before I crossed the street. He put "No, Im going with Tayana.(sad face)" I suddenly fell to my knees and cried. If I cant spend the best night with the guy I love why go? I felt hands touch my shoulders. I leaned my head back and saw marky! I got up so fast and hugged him so tight. He kissed the top of my head.
"Stella will you go to prom with me?"
Mark asked me.
My heart dropped a thousand feet.
