(Marks point of view)
The rest of the day Sean introduced me to his family members and drank. "What's it like being around so many drunk Irishmen?" Sean's uncle Boris slurred as he hung onto my shoulder, obviously trying not to fall over. "It's something, I say sassily. I walk off, leaving Boris to find someone els to hang on, and go to the other side of the cliff. I sat looking at the city, the cars driving, the children running ahead of their parents, excited to go into a store. Suddenly Sean walks over, and sits right next to me as if he knows why I'm here. We sit for a few minutes until he says "What's on your handsome mind?" "Nothing in particular..." Which was a lie, I was thinking about how I want kids, with Sean, that were ours... "I doubt that, don't you fooking lie to me!" He said jokingly. "We can talk about it later, go enjoy the family time." I get up and grab his hand to pull him up. He looks at me concerned. "Did my family make you rethink the proposal?" "No babe, it's something about after that..." I let my sentence trail off, grab his hand, and walk back over to his family.
