"Wake up loser!" My best friend said hitting me in the face with a pillow "what!" I mumbled throwing my pillow over my head trying to drown her out."it's the first day of school, get up get ready!" She said picking up the pillow I had thrown over my head. "Why ?"I  sighed starting to sit up. "Because we're gonna be late." She laughed grabbing the out fit I had layed out on a chair at the end of my bed the night before."now get dressed" she laughed throwing the clothes at me." Alright, alright." I laughed catching the clothes.

"I can't believe we're living together it's so fucking cool." Jaz said sitting on her bed, using the light from the window to do her make up."I know! It's so nice of your parents to let me stay here whilst my mom and dad go away." I said straightening my last few strands of hair." Ell, they love you they basically asked your parents if you could stay with us!" She said throwing her hair up into a pony tail."true,true!" I laughed. "Come on" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me down stairs.

"Pop tarts ?" Jaz questioned raising the pack of pop tarts in the air."yeah sure" I said grabbing a bottle of water out the fridge, and throwing it into my pack pack. "So what's your school like?" I questioned nibbling on the pop tarts jaz had toasted. "It's alright I guess! I mean it's just like your average American high school!" She laughed finishing off the rest of her pop tart.

Although me and jaz, well, jasmine. We're best friends we didn't go to the same high school till now. Let me explain.

Me and jaz went to the same kindergarten, elementary school, and middle school, but when we got to junior high, we ended up going to different schools. But we always stayed best friends. But now that my mom and dad have had to leave for business, for 6 months to a year. I'm staying with jazs family, so I just decided to move to jazs school with her. We thought it would be easier.

"Ready to go?" Jaz asked grabbing her keys from the side. "Yeah, just let me go get my phone" I said running upstairs to jazs room. "Okay we'll get James while your up there!" Jaz shouted . James, well Jamie is jazs younger brother he's just in the year below us. After grabbing my phone I went and got Jamie.

"James, we need to go." I said knocking on his door,"James we need to go!" I said again knocking harder. "Right I'm coming in!" I shouted. I opened the door to see James still asleep. "Oh my god!" I rolled my eyes.

"Jaz he's not even up!" I shouted down the stairs. "WHAT?!" Jaz shouted back up. "He's not even awake." I giggled to myself." Well he's gonna be up in a minute!" Jaz shouted, marching up the stairs. Jaz came in grabbed a pillow from the floor, and to say she beat the crap out of him would be an understatement.

"WAKE UP HOE!" Jaz shouted ,beating Jamie with the pillow. I burst out laughing. "Calm down bitch!" Jamie said starting to sit up." Were waiting in the car be ready in 15 you fugly slut!" Jaz said walking out of the room throwing the pillow in his face.

We got to school and picked up Dan on the way. Like jaz, I knew Dan since I was tiny but we ended up going to different schools when we got to junior high.

As I sat in jazs car, in the schools parking lot, I was the most nervous I'd been in a long time. We sat in jazs car looking up at the huge building in front of us, I gulped gown the lump that was forming in my throat. "You'll be fine!" Jaz said rubbing my back, she could tell I was nervous. "Come on!" Jaz said taking her keys out and jumping out the car. I still sat there frozen not wanting to move,"you'll be fine ell!" Jamie said getting out of the car. "Don't worry about it!" Dan said tapping my shoulder with his hand.

I got out the car and looked at jaz and Dan. "Ready?" Jaz asked. "Ready." I said putting my rucksack over my shoulder. "Let's go!" Dan Said wide eyed  looking up at the school.

"Hey miss, erm my friend, Elly is starting today!" Jaz said to the lady in the office. "Oh so you must be Miss Elly Ryder" The little old lady sat behind the desk, said passing me my schedule, and a map of the school. "Emm... Yeah."I said taking the two pieces of paper on the desk. "Well Elly! Welcome to Rosewood High!" She said flashing me a bright smile, I smiled back "thankyou" I said before walking out the office.

"So what do you have first?!" Dan asked snatching the papers out of my hand, "art I think." I said looking around, when I caught eyes with a guy with hazel brown eyes, and dirty blonde hair.

"Who's that?" I asked jaz pointing out the guy I had just caught eyes with. "Huh? Oh, that's Collin Jones, he's totally weird." Jaz said continuing to look at my schedule."what?" Dan asked, "she asked who Collin Jones  was." Oh that guy... Yeah don't go near that guy." Dan said continuing to go through my schedule with jaz.

"Well I don't think we have any classes together sorry ell!" Jaz said putting her arm around me, resting her head on my shoulder. "Well we have Geography together, but that's about it!" Dan said pointing at the class labels geography on the schedule.

"I can take you to art tho it's on the way to my dance class!" Jaz said handing me the papers back." So any way back to, that Collin Jones, what's so weird about him any way?" I asked placing the papers back in my bag.

"He's so weird he came from New York about a year ago, he doesn't talk to any one, but last year someone caught him under the bleachers, doing drugs, he's a fucking junky!" Jaz laughed,"so he doesn't have anyone?" I asked, "no, and he's always getting in trouble."jaz said ,"yeah no one fucking like him!" Dan added laughing to himself. Jaz nodded in a agreement. "Just stay away from him ell!" Dan added still laughing at what he had said before!
