I thought you "preferred to be alone" I said leaning against my locker rolling my eyes, trying my best to avoid eye contact with him, by turning my head to the side."I do." He said putting his hand next to my head, leaning over me.
"But..." He paus...
"Hey ell?" Jaz said walking into our room, I had been home for a while. School ended up sending me home early, after I pretended to be sick." Can I talk to you?"Jaz smiled.
"Yeah sure ." I smiled back putting my laptop down."look Dan told me what happened." She sighed sitting down on my bed. "And he wants to see you, he's out side right now." She said looking at the door,"Is it okay?" She smiled.
"Yeah." I smiled back. Dan walked in. "Hey, El." Dan smiled. "Hey." I said looking down at my feet." I'm really sorry about what happened earlier." He said sitting down on jazs bed which was next to mine. I didn't say anything back, i didn't know what to say.
"Look I know I was being a douche earlier, and I don't know why I did it."he said brushing back his hair with his hands. "What is being a douche bag cool here?" I sighed rolling my eyes at him.
"Look I'm sorry okay." He rolled his eyes, collapsing onto Jaz's bed. I couldn't be bothered to argue with him any more in all honesty, so I just gave in.
"Fine." I sighed giving him a slight smile. "Good." He said getting up from Jaz's bed to give me a hug, resting his head on mine. "I'll see you guys tomorrow!"he smiled heading out of the room. Just before he walked out he signalled for me to go talk to him outside. Jaz had her head phones in so I don't think she noticed.
"Look what happened with you and Collin earlier?" Dan asked rubbing the back of his neck, obviously feeling awkward. I rolled my eyes starting to head back in to Jazs room ,I didn't wanna talk about it . When Dan grabbed my arm again stopping me from leaving. "Look I just don't want you hang out with that guy El, he's not good news. Seriously Elly. Please listen to me." Dan said tightening his grip on my arm. "Okay." I sighed. At this point I was just trying to get rid of him I was in a bad mood, and I just wanted to go to sleep.
"Promise me Elly." He said sounding a lot more serious tightening the grip of his hand. "Promise." I smiled back nodding my head. "Okay I'll see you later." He said giving me a hug again. "Bye." I smiled. I stood at the top of the stairs watching him leave the house.
Once the door closed I ran back into the bed room, and berried myself under the covers.
*************** "El. Get up." Jaz yawned shaking me up. I sighed in response. "Come on!" She sighed giving me a slight smile. She definitely wasn't as energetic as she was yesterday. I hoped today would be a lot calmer any way, just me and my two best friends, although I knew that that wasn't gonna happen.
I put on a pair or high waisted black jeans, a little black crop top, and a long jacket. I just left my hair down and quickly went over it with my straighteners and put a little bit of make up on.

As Jaz finished getting ready I headed down stairs to put some lunch in my bag, checking to see if Jamie was up. He was thank god. When I got down stairs I grabbed a bottle of water and an orange and threw them in my bag. Once Jaz and Jamie got down stairs we all headed for the car. No one spoke the entire journey, even when we picked Dan up. It was really weird.
Once we headed into school, we started to talk again, as we stood out side my locker. "So what have you got first." Dan smiled trying to relive some of the tension. "English." I smiled back. "Oh well I'm going to the English block as well so I'll take you there." Dan said.
"What about you Jaz?" I said shuving a few books into my locker."math." She sighed rolling her eyes. We chuckled at Jaz's response.
*ringggg*
The bell went, "come on then!" Dan sighed putting his arm around me and Jaz, as we walked down the halls. Things were finally going back to normal. I smiled to myself.
"Right I'll see you later "Dan smiled. "Bye." I smiled back. I walked into English, there wasn't many people their maybe only like four. One of them pointed to a chair in the left hand corner at the back of the class. "That's the only free seat left." She said not even looking up to make eye contact with me, she just vigorously was drawing on the table. "Thanks." I smiled.
As more and more people came in, the person who I was supposed to be sharing a desk with didn't show. We started registration.
"Jenna?", "here." "Luke?" , "here."
"Collin?" As soon as I heard his name my head shot up. "Collin?" The teacher called out again. "Has any one seen Mr Jones?" He sighed. Just then Collin walked in. "Mr Jones late again." The teacher sighed rolling his eyes. "Good morning to you too Mr Myers."Collin said rolling his eyes, walking over to my desk, I knew he was gonna sit next to me. No doubt about it, there was no other place for him to sit.
As he walked over he sent me a smile. "Ryder?" A smirk plasters across his face, sliding into the seat next to mine. "Hey." I smiled back. "So how's your boyfriend?" He smiled ."what I don't have a boyfriend!" I laughed.
"Oh okay." He smirked. " what?" I laughed. "Mr Dan Clarke?"He questioned. "What ?! Me and Dan We're best friends!" I laughed I rolling my eyes. "Wow really cause it doesn't look like it!" He laughed again. "What are you talking about?!" I laughed. "Nothing it's just it seems he's very protective over you!" He laughed. "Whatever!" I sighed.
