After my encounter with Snow, I couldn't stop thinking about what he said: "I achieved power and am now using it. That's how the world works."
I kept repeating it inside of my head, I knew he was right and that it was especially true in the combat business. But I simply couldn't accept it. I was going insane and I knew it.

A week later I advanced to Elite 1 in warfare and Elite 3 in sword fighting but I had to quit boxing and street fight because my mind couldn't take it. Snow's words had been planted deep and were affecting my everyday life: I refused to go to the suburbs in case I'd witness another crime and wouldn't try to stop it, because then I'd think I'm becoming like him.

I now spent my days sharpening my skills as a swordsman. I was training harder than ever, because I knew I would have to face him again. And I had to make sure I kicked his ass this time.

----

After months of fighting, I finally got my chance: I had to face Snow in a warfare match and he was going to be on the opposing team. I knew that I had to defeat him, but I wasn't just going to leave it at that.

The fight progressed normally and there were only four people left before long: Me, my fellow swordsman, Snow and the enemy sniper.

"Take out the sniper while I hold off Snow", I whispered into my teammate's ear before charging at Snow.

We dueled in the center of the arena and neither of us was gaining any ground as Snow said to me: "You've gotten better kid, but you'll need more than that to beat me."

"Trust me", I replied. "I've got plenty left."

Just then I heard my teammate yell that he took out his target and I responded by yelling at him that Snow was mine and he should stay up there.

"Let me show you my true power", I smiled as I came at Snow with twice the speed and three times the strength. I noticed how he slowly started dropping to his knees with every blow.

"This is it, you bastard", I yelled as I cut open his chest.

A loud bell rang and the announcer said the match was over but I, filled with uncontrollable rage, said: "It's not over yet."

I then stabbed Snow, cut open his throat and started beating him up until he stopped moving. As soon as I saw the guards approach I grabbed my sword and escaped.

----

One man, One fight. It had ruined my life. That's what I thought as I wandered through the suburbs with my hooded cloak and a backpack with my sword in it.

I'd fallen a long way, and I was angry since I had almost made it to the top. I kept blaming Snow, telling myself that if he wouldn't have come along, none if this would've happened. But deep down, I knew Snow had been right all along, I just couldn't admit it.

----

As I walked through the suburbs, I saw a guy hold up another man and demand his wallet. In response I took of my cloak, grabbed my sword and stabbed the robber through the heart.

After which I pointed my blade at the other man and said: "Give me your wallet..."
