"Janae?" I said, she had been ignoring me lately. I wasn't doing anything wrong, I didn't have to be committed to her because we weren't official but I was.
"Yes Aiden?" She asked, acting like she ain't been ignoring me all week.
"Why you ignoring me like I'm one of these weak ass niggas out here?" I clenched my jaw. It kind of angered me because it was plenty females out here that wanted me but I was getting stuck on her.
"I just been going through something." She started twisting her fingers. Whatever it was I needed to know about it because it was affecting our soon-to-be relationship.
"And you don't think to tell me that instead of just reading my messages?"
"Aiden I'm sorry, I just been focused on something. It won't happen again."
"You promise?" I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her closer to me.
"I promise but what you doing? We're in school." She giggled and moved my hands.
"So what." I pushed her up against the locker. She looked up at me, biting on her bottom lip.
"Mr. Davis! Let Ms. Russell down immediately!" I heard the principal yell. I let her go as she winked at me and went to class.
I glanced at the principal and he started walking my way.
"Were you trying to sexually harass Ms. Russell?" I looked at him. Now he had me fucked up, why would I do that? Did I even look like the type to do that?
"What?" I squinted my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
"You heard me you sick bastard." He said the last part low. I felt my left hand jumping. Was I tripping or was this a dream?
"Excuse me?" I said and he crossed his arms. Before I knew it, my left hand connected with his right eye. He stumbled back, holding his face, glasses hitting the ground.
I hit him again, this time sending him to the ground. He pressed a button that was attached to his walkie talkie and I heard feet running. I already knew it was security and I needed to get some more licks in before they called the actual police. I kicked him in the head repeatedly until the security guards grabbed me. I wasn't even pumped up or anything, that white ass principal had it coming. Wait til my pops heard about this one. Mr. Harris wife might as well started making funeral arrangements.
I was sitting in the back of the police car as Ana yelled at the police. Janae stood there shocked and Aaron shook his head. It looked like the only one who believe what really happened was Ana.
My dad had a meeting so moms had to pick me up. She bailed me out instantly, taking me back to the school to get my car.
"You know that man Trynna press charges and expel you from school?" I shook my head.
"Imma make sure he taken care of." I said and she shook her head.
"Ya dad always say the same thing. Aiden look I know you getting older by the day and your about to be grown. But killing people ain't gone get you no where baby. I love you with all my heart but I won't care to beat some sense into that big ass head of yours."
I glanced at her and she stared back. I knew she wasn't playing but I wasn't either. Mr. Harris came at me a little too reckless, I felt like he had authority over me because I was black. He was riding me all my high school years but this time was different. Dawg mouth had been getting a little too slick and I ain't with that shit.
"My son out here beating on principals." She said, shaking her head. The ambulance and police was still here, trying to get more witnesses. I didn't give a fuck about this school one bit.
"Aiden are you ok?" Nuba stopped me before I put my car keys in the door to open it.
"Yeah, I'm straight. What you doing out here?" I glanced at my Rolex, it was still early.
"I had heard about what happened and wanted to make sure you were ok." She said, smiling.
"Yeah I'm good ma, thanks for checking up on me though." I said, opening my door.
"Why you don't call or text me no more?" I knew this question was coming.
"I been busy lately but I'll call you sometime tonight." I said and she nodded. I got in my car, starting it up as she waved bye. Her appearance still attracted me but I was starting to like Janae more and more.
