My car was finally fixed and now I could come see Aaliyah at anytime. We had been kicking it lately and I was actually liking the girl. She was on her shit and independent as hell. Just what I needed.
"Hey, you think you can run this across my eyelid?" She asked, handing me a brush with light pink powder on it. I nodded and did as told.
"Thank you Aaron." She smirked, "I knew how to do it, I just wanted to see what you were working with."
"Is that right?" I asked, ruffling her hair that she just did.
"Aaronnnn!" She started wining as I laughed. She was getting ready for this dinner date I was about to take her on. It was about that time to make it official or something .
We pulled up to the Benihana's that they had just rebuilt. Aaliyah had on a powder pink bodycon dress, and nude heels with her hair straight down her back. She was looking good, I'm not even gone lie.
I opened the door for here and the hostess was right at our service.
"So what do you plan on doing after graduating?" She asked as we waited for our food to be cooked.
"Hopefully sports take me where I need to go, if not, I got enough money to still do whatever." I said and she nodded.
"Well after graduation, I wanna open up a lot of businesses." She sounded just like my dad.
"Clothing stores? Shit like that?" She nodded, "You gone need help cause you ain't got no type of style."
"Aaron bye," she started laughing, "I gots all the style."
Our waitress came with our food and we dug in, feeding each other. I had stuffed liked 5 mini shrimps in my fork and put them in her mouth.
"You did that on purpose." She said, dabbing the shrimp juice from the corners of her mouth.
"But you knew that." I started laughing as she gave me that look, "I'm sorry."
"So do you have commitment issues or something?" She asked me and I shook my head.
"No, I just don't waste my time on females, I got enough girl drama at home from my sisters." I said and she nodded. "Not saying it as your wasting my time, I actually like you."
"I like you too Aaron and every time I'm around you... I start to like you more." She glanced away and bit on her bottom lip.
"Aaliyah... I like you too," I didn't really know what to say, "But I wanna like you more, you know what I mean?"
"You want me to be your girl?" Her eyes widened a little as I chuckled.
"Yes Aaliyah, that would be nice don't you think?" I smirked at her as she started blushing.
"Yes Aaron I'll be your girlfriend, you making me feel like a young freshman again, my insides turning." We both shared a laugh.
We got done eating and I payed for our meal and we headed to Family Video. We both picked out one movie a piece then headed back to her spot.
She had changed out of her dress and slid on something comfortable. I cooked the popcorn as the movie started. I didn't know what kind of movie this was but I was gone try to focus on it and not her. This wasn't no Netflix & Chill and she wasn't about to get none of my goodies.
She cuddled up against me as the beginning played out. I couldn't help but smell her hair, it smelt too good.
"Stop smelling my hair nigga," she started laughing, "I hear you breathing."
"Mane whatever." I said, smirking.
"Aaron I wanna tell you something." She glance up at me. I nodded to let her know that I was listening. "I'm not like all these other girls out here so you won't have to worry about me doing anything wrong. I just hope you aren't like the rest of these dudes."
"Just trust me, I won't hurt you baby. My momma taught me right, I know my do's and don't." She nodded.
"I also wanted to tell you that you probably the finest nigga that I have been in a relationship with." I was flattered.
"I mean we both knew that." I said and she hit my chest. "Don't do that, when the gorilla side come out of me you gone be scared."
"Oh really?" She climbed into my lap.
Y'all already knew what that meant.
