Well, I have a acting job. It's going great. Cameron is such a good actress. Definitely, my role model.
Johnson and I have been great. We've gone on a couple of dates involving the night sky and water.
But Brendalynn and I have had some trouble. I've been ignoring her. It's not my best decision but it will work for now.
I'm in the car with Johnson right now, heading to my place. He parked and we went up to the apartment. I opened the door and saw Jason and Brendalynn cuddling, while watching a movie. They're both asleep and snoring. Quite loud, I must say.
Johnson and I walked into my room and sat on the bed. I put a movie on my desktop and hopped on the bed. Johnson was on his phone and has been for the past hour. I tapped him on his shoulder. "Babe, do you want to watch a movie?"
His phone rang and he held up his finger. He went outside of my room and shut the door.
Sigh. Why is he like this today? I know he runs a company but it's never like this.
I just sat there, on the bed, and thought. I tried to get my mind of the issue.
It's nothing to worry about, Chloe. It's just for today.
Johnson's POV:
"No mom. I'm not bringing her to the ball."
"Why honey? All I want to do is meet her."
"No, you're going to scare her and make her feel bad about her body and personality. I'm not letting another girl meet you till she is ready and I am ready. She is not a gold digger and I know that." I said.
My mother is set on picking the wealthiest girls in the world for me to marry. I've been through this before and Chloe is not meeting my mother.
Chloe and I may go to the ball but she is staying away from my mother.
"I would never do that, Johnson. You don't speak to your mother that way."
I hung up. I've been out her to long. I opened Chloe's bedroom door and closed it. She was sitting on her bed with her bent towards the floor. I walked closer towards her. I saw something fall on the floor. Tears.
I rushed over towards her and bent down in front of her. I moved her hair away from her face. Her face was covered in tears.
"Chloe, what's wrong, babe?"
She didn't answer.
"If your wondering about who I was talking to, it was my mother, babe. I promise." I started to panic. She isn't talking to me. I grabbed her face and made her look at me. I saw the look in her eyes.
Sadness and worry.
I wiped away her tears as they kept coming. I pulled her into my embrace and held her.
"Babe. Please talk to me. Please."
"Why have you been on your phone the whole day and ignored me? I was worried that you got bored of me or was playing me." She choked out. She really thought that.
"I've been talking to my mother the whole day. She wants to meet you and I've said no to her. She isn't like any mother you've met. She will bring you down. I'm not letting you get hurt. But there is a ball coming up. She is hosting it. If you're ready to me her, then we can go. But if not, tell me."
She shook her head and laid it on my chest. I sat her on my lap. I played with her hair while she just laid there.
"Do want some more comfortable clothes?"
"Sure."
She got up and went into her closet. She brought out a t-shirt my size and sweatpants.
"Where do you get those?"
"My brother left these here when he was staying here." She handed them to me and pointed towards the bathroom. I got up and changed into them. I came out and ran towards Chloe. She was standing at her dresser, looking into the mirror. I grabbed her by her waist and threw her on the bed. She let out a little sound and looked at me. I smirked at her and lean close to her face and body. I supported my weight by my arms on the bed. I kissed her on her lips. Pure heaven. And that led to a full make out.
She was straddling my waist while my hands in her hips. I pulled back and leaned my forehead on hers.
"We can stop if your not ready. Seriously." She nodded her head and sat on my lap. I looked at my watch and saw I had a meeting in twenty minutes.
I planted a kiss on her head and picked her up. I put her back on her bed. She looked at me with confusion.
"I have a meeting in twenty minutes." I kissed her lips and her cheek.
"I'll be back after it, okay?"
"Okay. Be safe, babe." She gave. Me another kiss on the lips and hugged me. I held her tight. "I love you. I really do. I don't expect you to say it back." I kissed her head.
"I love you too." I smiled at that and kissed her lips one last time.
"I'll be back. Just get some sleep." I walked out of the apartment and down to my car. I drove to the building and walked up to my office where my mother is waiting. I walked in and saw her looking out the window. She turned around and smiled. Not any smile, but a forced one.
"Oh Johnson, it's been too long." She came towards me for a hug but I stepped away from her.
"What do you want, mother? My girlfriend is waiting for me."
"Oh, that gold digger. I don't know why you're dating her, Johnson."
I raised my voice. "You don't speak about her like that, mother. She is not a gold digger and she isn't at my apartment. She's at hers. She isn't a gold digger. You have been keeping me away from her today and caused her to doubt us."
"That's not my fau-"
"No it is, mother! She was happy today before you blew up my phone with texts and calls about another model that is single! Chloe is the only one I want! No one else, mother." I walked out of the building and into my car. I drove to Chloe's apartment. I opened the apartment and walked into Chloe's bedroom. She was under the covers, sleeping. I got into my boxers and climbed into bed. She turned towards me and looked at me.
"What's wrong?"
"My mother. She called you a gold digger but I told her otherwise. I know you're not like that. And the texts I've been getting all day is from my mother telling me about models that are single. I told her you are the only one I want."
She smiled at played with my hair. "You're to sweet, babe. Get some sleep and relax."
And that's how I fell asleep.
