Well you're probably worried about my leg right now because I broke it and I just needed some time for it to heal. Chloe found a job as an actress in a TV show called The Haunting. She's an actress in the making.

Well, living with Jason isn't so bad. The thing is, he's never here. When I fall asleep on the couch, comes out of his room to eat.

Well, that all changes today.

I'm moving back into my apartment. I finally got my cast off since I only broke one out of the two bones in my leg.

I was in the kitchen, making a sandwich when Jason came in all hot and sweaty. He looked up from his phone and saw me staring at him. He was about to turn around and walked out when I put my hand on his shoulder. I faced him towards me and cupped his face in my hands.

"We need to talk."

I grab his wrist and walked into the living room. I let go of his wrist and sat on the love seat while he sat on the couch.

I clear my throat and met his eyes.

"I'm moving out today since my cast is off. You don't need to ignore me anymore and go about your daily life without me intruding." I said rudely.

He opened his mouth as he was about to say something but closed it. I got up from the love seat and grabbed my bag by the front door. I opened the door and looked back at Jason. He had his head in his hands and elbows on his knees.

"Bye Jason. See you around, I guess."

His head shot up and looked at me.

"Bye, Kitten." He simply says. He walks up and gives me a hug. I stay stiff as a board.

He held his mouth above my ear.

"I'm sorry." He whispers. He pulls aways slowly and walks into the kitchen.

It's Monday again. My first day back to school after my broken leg. My book bag felt like bricks. I have no idea how there was only paper in there!

Chloe won't say a word to me. She wanted me to stay with her while I had my broken leg because she had just got a job and could pay for me but I just stayed with Jason. One of our friends said she thought I was avoiding her.

Now I just feel bad and my explanation isn't gonna make it any better because there's no way to explain to her that that's not true. It's Monday and I already feel like shit but now I just feel even worse. I might leave even though I'm supposed to take Chloe home. I can always just pick her up. At break, I leave and work an extra shift to get some spending money for later.

Soon enough it was 12:45pm. Chloe gets out at 1:00pm. I walked down the flight of stairs and to the parking deck. I have a reserved parking space in the front. I walked to my car and got in the drivers seat. I cracked it and drove to NYU. She was waiting out side for me and opened the back seat got in.

"Why are you sitting in the back sis?"
She just sat there and shrugged her shoulders. She buckled her seat belt and we were off to the apartment building.

I stay quiet for the rest of the trip home. I parked the car in the parking deck and head up to the apartment with Chloe a few feet ahead of me.

Once up at the apartment, I make some spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. I grab two plates down from the cabinet.

"Chloe, dinners ready." I yelled.

She comes into the kitchen and makes  her plate. She goes back into her bed room. I make my plate and sit on the couch in the living. I eat in silence.

I deserve this treatment. The silent treatment. I got up and walked into the kitchen. I put my dishes in the sink and walked back into the living room. Chloe was still eating and watching TV. I just walked past and into my room. I sat at the desk in my yoga ball chair and look at my desk top. I shook the mouse and the screen lit up. The Web was up and had an adoption Web page on it. There was a little baby girl on the profile.

I put the desktop on sleep mode and walked into my bathroom.

I undressed and hopped into the shower. Yes, I was thinking about adopting. I'm young and probably not ready for a baby but I want to do this. Of course, when I get enough money for a baby and and steady job. And a partner.

I turned off the shower once done with my hair and body. I wrapped a towel around my body. I heard the doorbell go off. "Chloe, please get the door. I'm not dressed."

I heard no foot steps. Just the doorbell. I walked out of my bathroom and put on a fluffy robe. I opened my door and walked to the front door. I opened the door and saw Jason.

"Hey Jason. Need something?" I said causal. But that's not what I felt on the inside.

"Look, I have to tell you this." He stated.

"Tell me then." I said. Everything happened in slow motion. He cupped my cheek. He started to lean forward and I did the same. His lips brushed against mine and it was the best I've experience. We both pulled back.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. "That was a kiss, not a sentence."

He put his hands on my waist and put his forehead on mine.

"I like you very much, Kitten and I would like you to be my girlfriend."

"We haven't even been on a date."

"Well, why not have a date right now. In your apartment."

"Sure, but let me get dress." I pecked his lips and walked off to my room.

This will be Interesting.
