Seungkwan - (Marry Your Daughter) [Edited]

Third Person POV

Today marks the day of Seungkwan and Shelby's eighth year anniversary. They had a get together with everyone that Seungkwan and Shelby's family planned. Knowing that Shelby is not a fan with big events, Seunkwan thinks Shelby deserves to be celebrated with, especially their anniversary.

They first looked for a banquet hall. I know it sounds too extravagant, but I mean, I'm only a Third Person here; anyways, as they looked for a perfect one, Seungkwan went on right ahead and started sending invitations via internet.

As everyone arrived, Seungkwan announced to everyone that this was a surprise party for Shelby. Seungkwan told everyone, that there are rose petals for the people who are seating beside where Shelby will be entering; so as Shelby walked, her favourite: scent, colour and flower will rain above her.

Ten minutes later, Seungkwan received a text from Shelby's mom, saying that they arrived. Seungkwan quickly told everyone that they were here. He ordered the people who were sitting beside the switches to turn them off.

The doorknob shook from left to right, when the door finally opened.

"Shel, can you turn the lights on" Shelby's mom asked. Shelby nod her head and went to the switch, when all of a sudden.

"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SHELBY!" Everyone shouted right on time when Shelby turned the lights on.

She looked right at Seungkwan, standing in the middle and waved at her. She felt tears forming.

"Go walk to him Shel" Shelby's mom proudly told her.

As Shelby walked towards Seungkwan, the people around her started throwing rose petals on her and left Shelby startled. They laughed because of Shelby's reaction but still continued with their job.

Shelby finally made it to Seungkwan, who is waiting with open arms. Shelby gladly gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, which gave the audience something to 'aww'.

Seungkwan took his mic with and right hand while holding Shelby on his left. "Thank you everyone for this successful surprise, but dinner will be arriving in approximately fifteen minutes. So just to kill time, we will be having some performers entertaining us. Enjoy" Seungkwan finished with a promising ending.

Everyone enjoyed the entertainments and their dinner that arrived eight minutes earlier than fifteen.

"For our next performance, will be Seungkwan himself" The MC/Host announced. Shelby looked at Seungkwan who gave her a kiss on the forehead. Everyone applaud as Seungkwan went up to the front with a mic.

"Hello everyone"

"I have an announcement to make. Shelby and I, we've been together for seven years, yah I know pretty long right?" The audience laughed.

But today is our eighth, so I would like Shelby's father, Mr. Linward, be prepared with this song"

Shelby was shocked, as Seungkwan showed the box with a ring in it to Mr. Linward.

"Can I have your blessing with marrying your daughter" Seungkwan asked. This was a thrilling moment, when Mr. Linward ended it with his answer.

"Yes"

Everyone cheered from Seungkwan. He let out a huge big breath that he must have been holding on, "I almost died there" Everyone laughed.

"Shelby Heather Elionor Linward, or Shel" Seungkwan called her out.

She stood up, right when Seungkwan knelt down in one knee.

"Will you take the honour, of being my-" Without finishing his sentence, Shelby came running towards him and yelled.

"Yes!"

Everyone cheered as if their favourite sport team won. Seungkwan placed the ring on her finger and hugged each other tight.

"Congratulations!"
