Paris POV

~flashback~

"Paris sweetheart, wake up" Mama said sweetly

"Okay Mama" I replied back

Mama always wake me up 4 in the morning to go to Mingyu's house because Mama's work is at 6 or 7 in the morning and goes home at 7 or 8 at night or over night.

Mama has to work very hard for both of us to survive, considering she's a very young mother and Papa left her right when Mama told him she was pregnant on the age 20. My GrandMama and GrandPapa disowned Mama, so we couldn't ask for help.

Mama prepared my clothes and bag to bring with me. I changed into the clothes Mama gave me and took my small bag.

"Let's go Mama"

Me and Mama got out of the apartment and went to the parking lot. I slept through out the ride and always wake up in Mingyu's house.

"Mingyu go wake up Paris" I heard whispers.

The door creaked open and I felt and hand on my arm shaking me a little.

"Paris?" Mingyu whispered "Paris wake up" He whispered again. I opened my eyes seeing Mingyu smiling, my face felt hot.

I was playing with Mingyu until we heard a knock. Mingyu ran to the door and took his stool to be able to look at the hole and see who's on the door.

"Paris it's your Mama"

He put his stool aside and opened the door wide open revealing my tired looking Mama.

"Hey baby, let's go?" Mama said tiredly. I nodded my head in response. Mama came in and had a small chat with her bestfriend.

"Mama I'm done"

They said their goodbyes to each other. I looked at Mingyu and said my goodbye to him

"I'm gonna miss you Paris"

I smiled, "I'll see you tomorrow silly" I giggled. Me and Mama left.

I woke up on my own bed, I was confused. I walked out of my room seeing Mama in the kitchen cooking.

"Mama?"

Mama turned around and smiled at me.

"Goodmorning love" Mama said sweetly

"You don't have work?" I asked

"Well Mama got a new job so I start next Saturday" she answered

"Oh, can I still come over to Mingyu's house?" I asked curiously.

Mama stopped what she was doing, she took a deep breathe, she turned off the stove and put the pan on the side. And looked at me with sadness.

"Paris they moved away"

My heart stopped, my breathing got faster and faster each breathe I took. The last words he said kept on repeating in my head over and over. My first love, gone. My eyes started to tear up, and fountain of tears gushed out.

"No!" I yelled. Mama came running to me and hugged me.

"It's fine baby, Mingyu left you something"

I paused and looked at her curiously, she stood up and opened a cage that I never knew we had. Suddenly, a puppy came running out.

"Mingyu wanted to leave you a little gift because he knows you would miss him. It was very sweet of him, he said that the dog is a he"

I hugged the puppy, and smiled "I'll name you Mingyu"

I miss him, I know he's gonna come looking for me, I just know it. After Mama passed away from cancer, I never moved away and still lived in our apartment.

I was nineteen when Mama passed away at 40. My dog is still alive who gave me 3 more puppies to take care of. I know Mingyu's gonna die soon so I asked the landlord if he can find me a roommate to accompany me and my dogs, surprisingly he did! He said my roommate will be arriving tomorrow.

I started cleaning my old room. I sleep in my Mama's room because I feel more closer with her.

I was eating my breakfast waiting for my roommate to arrive. Suddenly, someone was knocking on the door. The dogs started barking as if it was an intruder. I shushed them. I went to the door and opened it without hesitation.

"Hi you're my new roommate?" He asked

"Yeah, nice to meet you" I shook hands with him, "Come in, let me help you with your stuff"

I stepped aside and showed him his new room and introduced myself.

"I'm Paris. And these are my dogs, Mayson, Mist, Miles and Mingyu" I pointed

I looked at him waiting for him to introduce himself but he was just silent with a shocked face.

"Paris" he whispered. He walked towards me, I stepped back. "Paris it's me, Mingyu"

My heart stopped, my eyes started tearing up, "Mingyu?" I touched his cheek lightly.

He pulled me in for a tight hug, "I finally found you" he said
