Rise of the Guardians x reader (Completed)

A guardian??

(Bunnymund took you into a room at norths workplace were there was a bedroom, I know there's not actually one but just work with it k? )

You were having a nightmare, and you could tell you were. Your old room appears around you, and your dad comes in.

He was drunk, and you could smell the beer in his breath. No, this can't be real. No, no, no! Your dad had a whip in his hand and was slowley walking towards you.

Everything went black, then you were   up against the wall. Your back facing your dad. Even though this isn't real you could feel the harshness of the whip hitting your back.

Tears started rolling down your face, and you yellped every time the whip hit your back.

You could feel the blood start dripping from the whip slashes, you tried to move but couldn't.

The pain kept growing,  not seasing a bit. You started to scream in pain, and thats when you woke up. Tears were on your face, and you were breathing heavily.

A girl that looked like a humming bird flew in really quick. "What's wrong!??! " she said frantically looking around the room then at you.

You must have screamed, and thats why she came. But what is she? 

The bunny, the short guy, a guy in a dark blue, almost frozen looking swaetshirt  and white hair with a staff run in, and right behind them was...  Dave??

Everyone was looking at you, worry in there eyes. The bunny walks over and sits down on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong, mate? " he says. "Home, father, drunk, whip. " you say with more tears running down your face.

You stare at your hands in your lap. "What does she mean by that? " the bunny questions, looking at the other people in the room.

The hummingbird was sitting at the foot of the bed, head down and silent. "Yo-you guys don't want to know. " yoh watch her, wondering if she knows. she says as she starts flying, and hugs me.

"Yes we do tooth. " the guy in the sweatshirt says coldly. "I'll show you guys later, can we have some time alone? " she says looking intently at everyone.

They all stay silent, the give us both a weird look but walk out. "It was about your father? And he was, you know. " she says looking at you. You nod slowly, and put your hand on your back.

3rd person pov

Everyone was crowded around the door listening, "and he was what? " jack whispers to everyone else.

As tooth was comforting (y/n), the other guardians tryed to figure out what they ment. 

Then sand man turned everyone's attention to the door, they were coming out. They all scramble to look and act natural.

Your pov

You walk out of the room, and the other people were there acting weird. "No need to act natural you guys, I know you guys were listening to us. " you say looking at them intently.

Everyone, including tooth had a shocked expression on there face. "But besides that, who and what are you guys?" You look at all of them. "And dave, who are you and why are you here? "

The white haired boy chuckles, "dave? " he says as he sits ontop of his staff. "What type of name is that? " he asks. "But thats your name" you say pointing to dave "right? " he looks a little uneasy then says" well, I had to make a fake name, my real name is Santa clause or north for short. "

You were shocked, santa clause!?! Then you started to understand who all they were. "T-then your sandman, and the easter bunny, the tooth fairy and jack frost.." You point to each of them as you say there names

"Thats right m8, and were the guardians. "He says. " we protect the children of the world, good or bad naughty or nice, its our job to protect them. " north days pointing to the huge globe in the middle of the workshop.

"What are the lights? " you ask pointing to the globe, you walk up next to north. "Those are the children that believe. " " and what happens if they stop believing? " you ask north, you see his face drop a little.

"If the children stop believing, then each of our homes will start to disappear, and slowly, so will we. " you look around at everyone.

"That sucks, but why am I here? " you ask eagerly looking at everyone. They all shoot glances at each other before looking at me.

"Because mate, your are guardian to. " you had a shocked expression on your face. A guardian? But which one? How will I become who I really am?  Does that mean I won't see my father anymore?

Those thoughts just swirled around in your head. You start to say those exact thoughts out loud without even realising it. "You won't see your father anymore, we will keep you away from that monster. " tooth says.

"Was I saying all that out loud? " you ask. Sandman nods, and then north says, " but, they way you have to become a guardian is.. " he paused looking like he was about to cry.

"Is what? " you ask worried about what he might say. North looks at the other guardians, but doesn't say anything. Tooth fly's over and puts a hand on my shoulder. "You have to die in order to become one"
